This restaurant, located inside the Arceto Castle, should be rated 3 Star Michelin and is definitely worth a visit when visiting the Emilia-Romagna region. The menu changes with the seasons, so you will find a wide variety of dishes from duck (anatra) and quail (guaglia) to Agnus beef, veal (vitello) and fish, such as tuna and sea bass (branzino), as well as traditional dishes such as risotto and pasta. The appetizers are creative and varied, and quite large (recommend to share one), priced from â¬12 to â¬16. I had the Soufflè di Parmigiano Reggiano, (baked egg and parmigiano cheese, pear, honey, and Balsamic). The meal starts with fine baked breads and gnocco, and a small tasting of the house special soup. Main courses are very reasonably priced, from â¬14 to â¬20. The wine list is quite substantial, specializing in small wineries throughout Italy. We ordered an exquisite 2007 Amarone, one of their younger wines on their list. For 45⬠you wouldn't find that in the USA for under $200 (if you could find it). The service is exceptional, very kind and attentive wait staff. The dining area is quaint and romantic, although I would suggest lowering the lights (emphasized lighting tends to be common throughout restaurants in Italy). And there is nice smooth jazz music playing in the background. In summer there is outdoor seating. Dessert, I can't comment on, because we were too full to order it. However, the waiter brought us a plate of small varied desserts, (gratis), and it was just the right amount to end a perfect meal. In total, the bill was under â¬100 for 2 appetizers, 2 main courses, a fine bottle of wine, bottled water, and service charge. Quite reasonable!

Una cena perfetta. Pesce freschissimo cucinato con cura e passione. Benché fosse l'ultima sera di apertura del locale prima delle ferie e noi fossimo gli unici clienti siamo stati trattati con tutte le attenzioni possibili dai simpatici titolari. Sembra veramente di essere a casa. Il conto è adeguato alla qualità del cibo e non eccessivo.

The plan was to eat at the best Modena ristorante however life happens plans change and we're We lucky! Osteria in Scandiano is a hidden jewel , let's start with service; attentive , amazing however the real jewel is the food from Brodo - Pasta- Entree each plate was more delectable than the previous. we entered in the restaurant around 23 after a hard working day and the waiters were so kind !we took a pizza. In the menu was explained how the pizza is made in the restaurant long lievitation, special wheat flour and high quality ingredients.The result was: a tasty pizza light and GOOD!the restaurant is stilish, clean and comfortablea good option in Reggio Emilia

Pranzo domenicale in famiglia davvero ben riuscito, quello che abbiamo trascorso allâAgriturismo Bellarosa. Edificio immenso e ristrutturato di recente, a mio parere con un Budget ed un risultato entrambi importanti. Ci mettiamo in una splendida posizione, da cui possiamo tenere sotto controllo i bimbi che giocano nel prato retrostante. Menù concordato a prezzo fisso, abbondante e di buona qualità . Antipasti con salumi, formaggi e salsine varie. Tortelli verdi meglio di quelli al tosone. Carni e contorni in abbondanza (abbiamo rinunciato al secondo secondo perché sarebbe stato veramente troppo) e torte eccellenti. Vino in abbondanza, caffè.33⬠a testa - prezzo onestoRistorante consigliato !Complimenti anche ai cani che hanno svolto in modo impeccabile il ruolo di baby sitter per tutto il pomeriggio.

Went here as part of our cooking class and met the chef and assisted in preparing our lunch. Luckily he was heavy handed in the work and the result was spectacular. I went there with my family for a Sunday lunch.The place is not one of the best because it is situated on the street, but the inside desing is really elegant and professional.I think this restaurant is one of the only very good place to eat fish in Reggio Emilia, they can manage fish in every kind of dish, from the apetizer to the second dishes.We ordered one apetizer and one first dish per each and we divided two second dish (orata al forno and fritto misto), one dessert and one ananas, one bottle of wine and coffes. We spent 173⬠in 4 person.I consider the price very good for the quality of the food, the fish was very fresh and very well cooked, spaghetti alle vongole and paccheri were amazing and the apetizers very professional and creative!

Blown away by this place. Several reasons. A) very clean and inviting. B) the owner Nunzio was present and the head chef. C) Nunzio was very friendly and treated me like a diplomat...I'm just a regular guy visiting, looking for a nice meal.It was humbling to see how proud he was about his restaurant and his staff were all just as friendly.If ever you wanted to bottle the atmosphere and share it with people, this is it.
