Blown away by this place. Several reasons. A) very clean and inviting. B) the owner Nunzio was present and the head chef. C) Nunzio was very friendly and treated me like a diplomat...I'm just a regular guy visiting, looking for a nice meal.It was humbling to see how proud he was about his restaurant and his staff were all just as friendly.If ever you wanted to bottle the atmosphere and share it with people, this is it.

We were staying about 1.5 km up the road at Hotel Cavazzone, and decided to try this restaurant. We tried to go there personally to book, only to be told that they were fully booked for the next two evenings, so just as we were getting back into the car, a member of staff caught up with us to say they could fit us in tonight if we wanted to arrive early. So we arrived at 19:30 hours, and were treated to some starters (Free) in the main dining room, all of which were lovely, from Brushetta to various meats, all of which were cooked to perfection. We were then shown to our table on the terrace, which had absolutely amazing views over the hillside & Parma / Reggio Emillia. we ordered starters and mains, including a T Bone steak which was devine. Desserts were also very good and home prepared. The wine list was very comprehensive and the staff knowledgeable about regions and the menu. Highly recommend.

Molto spesso prendiamo la pizza da asporto con consegna a domicilio. Arriva sempre calda ed è davvero molto buona. Vasta scelta di pizze dal menù. Assolutamente consigliato!

Locale carino e ben curato. Personale di sala simpatico e disponibile. Primi piatti abbastanza buoni, anche se viene usata decisamente troppa panna in ogni piatto. Tigelle molto secche e salumi decisamente migliorabili. Tagliata di manzo e tagliata di cavallo non di prima qualità e cotti oltre il dovuto. Dolci buoni. Bisogna avere pazienza perché i tempi sono molto lunghi. Prezzo nella norma.

My boyfriend lives nearby so we hangout here pretty often. The toasts and pastas are quite tasty, the environment is cozy, the staff are friendly. overall it's very comfortable and will definitely keep hanging out there. :)

This cozy restaurant, nicely located in the outskirts of Reggio Emilia, is a very typical example of a family-run italian place. The cuisine relies on the staples of local food: prosciutto, Parmiggiano-Reggiano, home-made pasta, meat (veal, pork, chicken, rabbit among the others).The service is efficient and very friendly and the atmosphere is just lovely; simple, traditional, intimate and cozy in the inside and with a nice yard outside. All this comes with a convenient price; for a complete meal with wine and coffee we spent just 30 euros per person.I would strongly recommend it if you are a family and if you want to have a taste of the "slow-Italy" that resists the wind of modernity.NB: do not get there too late; the kitchen closes soon after 2 PM...

The restaurant interior is a vaulted ceiling area and has a lovely outside area under canopies,unfortunately they don't work in heavy rain as customers found out the day we ate there.Service was a little slow due to numbers eating,it was full and they had to accommodate the people outside when the thunderstorm broke.Food was average but service was very slow.

the pizza here is good.if you like thin crust..here you have a good choice,many combinayions.if you dont like thin crust you can also choose the "naples" type of pizza.thicker crust and softer.they also have whole wheat or kamut crust.good..but not the real naples pizza..

After recommendation of our agriturismo host, we went to this really nice place. We made our reservation through Facebook! A nice warm welcome was followed by a superb menu that even included a bottle of wine and water! The restaurant took us on a fusion adventure of four courses packed with wonderfull flavours and portions! After dinner we even received a small bottle of balsamico as gift.We highly recommend it to outsiders whom looking some culinary surprises!

we were guests of friends in Reggio Emilia. We are Indians, we broke advise the owner and he suggested a tasting menu of seafood, appetizers acquired with refinement and excellent flavors of the sea. pasta dishes: rice with fresh fish, excellent and quality. The desserts were really good. Throughout the meal was accompanied by a wine called "Franciacorta" wonderful. The bill was balanced with the Quality, recommended for my Indian friends.
