We are a complex of guesthouses, wellness and restaurant. Our guesthouse is composed of 2 bedrooms, a kitchenette, shower and WC. We give the guesthouse, not a room, for 4 persons price range from 50 to 70 euros. We have the country's one and only operational stream watermill. Our restaurant offers traditional Hungarian cuisine and authentic Filipino cuisine. The only Filipino restaurant in Hungary.

Reviewed By PestoscsirkeWe were visiting following a friend's recommendation. The place is wonderful and the kitchen is unique in Hungary. The owners treat guest like friends, we felt ourselves home from the first moment. The food is very good, in matter of quality and amount, prices are very reasonable. I rarely write this, but if you like to try different places to eat, you have to try restaurant while you are in Hungary. The surrounding is beautiful and the road leading there represents the real Hungarian countryside.

Reviewed By Heather PI stayed as part of a large group. There were rooms on the ground floor and the first floor. Some of the downstairs rooms had a kitchenette and access to the garden with table and chairs and a couple of sunloungers outside. My room was upstairs and was nicely furnished with a modern bathroom and hot shower. There was also a fridge in the room. My room had a blind which was very effective at keeping the daylight out in the early morning. There were plenty of plug sockets but no bedside table lamps so it was necessary to switch the light off before getting into bed. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice including Serrano ham. The proprietor and her daughter worked very hard at breakfast to ensure we were well looked after. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again, if in the area. There was free Wifi access in my room no 6. There was no air conditioning.

Reviewed By DomokosEndreCsendes helyen, a belvároshoz közeli ház. A belső tér nagyon hangulatos, az ágyak kényelmesek. A ház tiszta és rendezett. Jól felszerel konyha és mosógép van a közös helységben. Viszont: az összes ajtó nyikorgott és szorult. NAGYON!

Wonderful hospitality in beautiful Northern Hungary
Reviewed By Viktoria KWe enjoyed genuine hospitality and care throughout our stay at Rozsakert Vendeghaz in Romhany. The guest house is clean, comfortable and cosy with excellent value for price. The owner is extremely friendly, welcoming and he helped us a lot with sightseeing and activities in the area. He has a vast knowledge about the region and does everything possible to create an enjoyable stay for his guests. He made a delicious, hearty breakfast using home grown vegetables and herbs. We also loved the sports facilities provided by the guesthouse (bikes, badminton, table tennis, etc.) and had a great time relaxing in its salt chamber. The guesthouse is located close to the supermarket, and Romhany, the village itself is only about 80 km from Budapest. It can be easily reached by bus, too and there are plenty of excursion options in the neighbourhood. Our tour highlights in Romhany were strolling through the village admiring the beautiful scenery, watching the sunset from the hill of Rakoczi's famous Turkish hazelnut tree, observing animals on the fields during early morning hours and chatting with the friendly local people. The nearby village of Bank offers a fantastic lake for swimming, and there is a breathtaking mountain view from the Pronay lookout tower, which can be reached from Romhany by hiking through the forest - both were superb excursions which we would do again! We highly recommend Rozsakert Vendeghaz in Romhany to everyone who is looking for peace, serenity and truly hospitable people in the countryside.

Yours sweet BASE for sweet Tokaji wine tastings
Reviewed By BackPacker330474Demetervin owns a winery and a beautiful hotel at the same time. Everything is brand new and the rooms are well equipped and very modern. Don't look for movie channel or installed speakers, but do look for mini wine cellar installed in the room and spacious comfortable room with special vineyard designed bathroom doors.

Reviewed By alinatrutaWe booked on the day and we arrived in a nice, rustic, quite place, with nice room, TV, fridge, free wifi and free parking at a very good price, breakfast included, inside or outside. In the evening we went down for a meal and we received big portions of an excellent home made meal, cooked with local ingredients, we couldn't believe how good it was! Not just very good value for money but if you want to enjoy a good meal and remember about it this is the place!

It is in a very good position.The main square is about 100 meters away.We are very kind to the housekeepers.We got a welcome drink.The rooms are clean and there is everything you need for people.Parking is on the street is possible.

Quiet, clean, good staff
Reviewed By bigcitygurl_13You can buy Tokaji wine room temperature or chilled at the front desk. Breakfast is good and includes your choice of eggs. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was clean and a decent size. It’s a little difficult to find.
