Wonderful Homestay in the perfect location
Reviewed By Rebecca LWe loved Ly’s Homestay! Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming. They have recently developed their property so everything was brand new, clean, spacious and very comfortable. Our hosts went out of their way to be helpful - making us breakfast, providing us with bikes, washing our clothes and organising transport to and from Hanoi. There was even a router in the room which is really important to me as I work remotely. We would definitely stay here again and next time we look forward to using the pool as the weather was a bit too cold when we were there. We would recommend staying at Ly’s Homestay, you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing place with beautiful scenery
Reviewed By F3825CVbenaThis is an amazing place to spend a couple of nights. We travelled from noisy Hanoi by coach and a taxi took us to the homestay. It's about 2 km inwards from the main road. when we got there we were amazed to see such a beautiful serene view with the lake and surrounding mountains. There are about 9 to 10 bamboo huts along the lakeside. We were given a warm welcome by the family and after checking us in, we were shown to our hut. The hut made out of bamboo looked basic from the outside but the inside had 2 large comfy beds with mosquito nets, mini fridge and kettle. There was a porch facing the lake, which is overlooked by mountains. It is a secluded place with couple of hammocks to relax on. After noisy Hanoi it was great to have the peace and quiet. We enjoyed the local food cooked by the family. Our stay came with breakfast, which was tasty. The bicycles were free to do site seeing. There was a snooker table and a TV for entertainment in the main reception area. It had exceeded our expectations as well as the family being so friendly, accommodating and welcoming. I would highly recommend this homestay as part of your tour plans in Vietnam.

And they are very helpful! Also the food is very delicious and fresh and the beds are amazing. Great base to see Bihn Bihn from. Lovely family!!

When come, Mr.Toan come to pick me up at out of the way, he give me the map city and show me how can visit Trang An, How to drive the motorcycle,… and give me 2 rooms nearby for my family. 5* for his service. The breakfast is so nice, have noodles…tea, clean and quickly. Thanks you very much and come back again!

Such wonderful hospitality
Reviewed By Sharyn NWe stayed at the Mountain Lake view for a week in December 2020. we were on a bicycle tour from Hanoi to HCMC. We can't recommend them highly enough. The bungalow was extremely comfortable with amazing mattress. The breakfast was incredible. but the highlight was the hospitality. The family are so welcoming and helpful. Lan, the daughter speaks excellent English as does her husband. After we left and rode to Cuc Phuong National Park, I slipped on wet tiles and broke my arm. I rang Lan and she arranged her brother to come and pick up both us and our bicycles. He then took me to Hanoi to hospital for surgery. While I was in hospital they looked after my husband like family, helping him to arrange my luggage as my bicycle riding had come to an abrupt end. I really don't know what we would have done without them. Thank you so much everyone at the Mountain Lake Homestay. You are amazing

Terrible! Go with another homestay!

We booked online for garden view room-was about $25 and when we arrived to check in they took us to a small room with no windows at all and was dirty with a roach in it! They didn’t even want to give us a discounted rate!! We were so frustrated- how can u fully book and then when u go to check in they “give ur room away”!!! Then they don’t even have a comparable room to give for the same price! Let alone put you in a room that is advertised online as cheaper and then they don’t honor that advertised rate!! This place is an Avoid Avoid place!! Plenty of other options around here where I’m sure this won’t happened and if it does it is handled correctly!! Terrible experience!! All members of my family did enjoy this ecolodge very much ! - Room is big , clean and great view - Breakfast is so great! my children love it so much - Swimming pool is amazing! - Ecolodge is so quiet and so relaxing! - Staffs are so friends so we can share so many things about this area! - In 2 days here We can visit many places in Tam Coc as Sampan at Ngo Dong river , Bird Watching , Temples and walk around the town at night ! Highly recommended if you travel Tam Coc , should spend one or two nights in Tam Coc Nature Ecolodge ! I will come back to stay here in the future ! Such a lovely ecolodge ! David Ng
