Reviewed By DenisSuminEverything was just O.K., as one can expect when staying in a hotel in a small russian town. The room is nice; may be the carpet is not very clean, just as mgurst mentioned. There is quite a modern shower with somewhat jacuzzi, but it didn't work. Shower worked O.K. There is parking in the hotel, wi-fi worked O.K., but the connection was a bit poor on the 3rd floor. Connection on the 1st and 2nd floors is o.k. Breakfast was good for me. May be, the price is a bit high. I prefered some 20% lower price for such service. However, nice hotel, nice service.

Good location near the border
Reviewed By LigouchkaIt's a correct old-fashioned hotel. If you cross the border/bridge on foot : don't hesitate, that's a perfect location (5min). The staff is very friedly. You can have a nice 15 min walk to the great fortress. Private parking (you have to book it in advance but it's for free) Big minus : there's no breakfast. The near-by restaurant opens only at 12, and the coffee bars at 10. Be specially careful during Christmas vacation : it's hard to find something open.

Reviewed By Annalbe59The setting is amazing amidst a forest and on a lake. This is the third time I come and always enjoyed. The rooms have nice good wooden furnitures and floor, bathrooms are large and functional. The restaurant offers a spectacular view on the lake and food is good quality and well cooked (Russian/international style). I have a problem with large windows with no dark curtains in short white nights... and neon ceiling lights are out of style.

Reviewed By AlbertSalichsThe rate quality/price is very good. We were 4 persons and we had 1 triple-room and 1 single-room with all we need. Rooms were comfortable. The owner of the guest house was very friendly with us, however she did not speak English and we do not speak Russian, we used googletranslator. The breakfast was included in the price and it was very good. On the other hand, The parking is full of mud.

Reviewed By 170vadimkWe were very much amazed by everything at this place. First of all - the best sunset spot in vyborgskiy kray. Secondly, personnel is very helpful and friendly and creates a feeling as if you are a family member who came back after a long trip. Thirdly, restaurant’s cuisine is something you want to come and taste again. And the rooms and the area are very lovely! The only thing - the houses are constructed of wood and if you are sensitive to other noises - I would take earplugs to the trip (I don’t know if they can be provided at the hotel or not)
