Reviewed By PhilofBeestomWe stayed in one of the maisonettes. These consist of two floors connected by a steep flight of stairs. You enter in the upper floor which has the bathroom and main bedroom. The stairs take you down to a living room with kitchen area, where two single beds are also available. Each floor has a balcony, the lower one shaded, the upper (smaller) one not. As the building faces roughly North, the rooms do not get too hot in the fierce midday sun. Kitchen facilities include fridge, three ring hob, microwave oven & toaster, plus plenty of crockery, implements and pans. Both balconies give extensive views over the Mirabello Gulf. The grounds are attractive and well-planted; the swimming pool is in a well grassed area with views up to the mountains. It takes about 20 minutes to walk into Us from village which has multiple taverns and mini markets; Sandy braces are only about 10 minutes walk. Note that the buildings are up a very steep hill from the main road, featuring two hairpin bends. The owner, Yannis, lives on site and is very friendly - his English is not extensive but he puts you on his mobile phone to a relation in Athens who acts as interpretor! He gave us a litre of his own olive oil as a leaving present!

Enjoy our beautiful landscape surrounded by rugged hills and mountains of Crete full of wild flowers, cedar trees, herbs, ideal for walking or hiking while enjoying the view of Mirabello bay.

The location is also great as it’s just 5 minutes walk to the most beautiful beach of Crete. A special thank you to Aliki and her husband you really made our holidays!!! Thank you so much for upgrading our apartment and also for homemade biscuits and wine! We will definitely be back! Robin&Jennet

Mangelhafte Ausstattung
Reviewed By 20Jo_Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, das ist aber für das einzig positive gewesen. Die Ausstattung ist sehr dürftig, wackeliger Minitisch, keine Bettdecken nur Lacken, kein Safe für Wertsachen. Der Balkon ist winzig und kaum benutzbar. Das Badezimmer ist zu klein und fehlen keine Hacken um die Handtücher aufzuhängen, so liegen die am Boden herum und das Waschbecken ist nicht größer als ein Kochtopf und in der Dusche gibt es kaum warmes Wasser. Außerdem quietscht die Schiebetüre zum Badezimmer bei jeder Benutzung. Als wir abends die Balkontüre öffneten, füllte sich unser Zimmer mit dem Rauch des angezündeten Restaurantgrills. Es dauererte einige Zeit bis wir den Rauchgeruch durch die Zimmertüre weg bekamen. Das Restaurant direkt gegenüber ist im Freien und der Restaurantbetrieb war, trotz geschlossener Balkontüre, unüberhöhrbar.

Reviewed By Natel01Μείναμε στο διαμέρισμα το οποίο έχει όλα τα απαραίτητα για μια διαμονή οικογένειας(κουζίνα, σκεύη, ψυγείο, πλυντήριο ρούχων)αν και δεν έχω παιδί. Έχω όμως σκυλοπαιδια τα οποία έγιναν ευπρόσδεκτα χωρίς μανουρα και ένας οικοδεσπότης ευγενεστατος. Θέα όλη τη Σητεία στα πόδια σου, ήσυχη περιοχή.λιγο θέμα με το πάρκινγκ αλλά το παραβλέπω,απ' ότι μας εξήγησε είναι λόγω σεζόν.τιμη για την χρονική περίοδο και λόγω του ότι έμεινα στο μεγάλο διαμέρισμα (κοιμίζει 4) 60€/βραδιά.τιμια τιμή και ναι θα τα ξαναεδινα αν χρειαζόταν , μόνο και μόνο που δε στερήθηκα τα κορίτσια μου.σας ευχαριστώ πολύ.

We were treated to some delicious tradition food and helpful advise. Would definitely come back in the future. Sisi itself is relatively small but has all the basics for out of season stays.

Rude and dishonest owner. Stay away
Reviewed By 221mihaiiThis hotel advertises on booking (dotcom) that they are pet friendly and that pets are received upon request. My wife and I, we made a reservation and asked the owner if it's ok to come with our dog. As answer we received the words "you are blessed to choose us". We arrived at the hotel to find out the owner is an extremely rude person who refused to acknowledge the reservation (which would have been an inconvenience) and also refused to refund us (which in my book is theft), based on the fact we came with our dog. It is, of course, their right to refuse pets. However, once you set your policy, you should honour it. We called the booking agent and was told the hotel does not accept pets. The hotel policy was changed. Luckily, the cache on my phone still showed the hotel policy as pet friendly 10 minutes prior to our discussion with the agent. We recovered our money. This is an ugly story for us and a black spot on an otherwise beautiful island. The hotel is in a remote location and we travelled 5 hours by car to get there. We had to travel another 2 to get to a hotel the nice agent found for us instead. I wish Mr. Nico (the owner) all the best and may he be treated by a hotel the exact same as he treated us, when he takes his vacation. Mr. Nico, if you are reading this, know that I intend to check your hotel policy from time to time and post a warning wherever I can.

The rooms are spacious and very clean.The nearby village has excellent choices for food.Relaxing with a drink at the pool at night was my favorite time there!Do ask Antonis,the host anything about the area and he will be more than willing to give you all the tips he knows.Higly reccomended!

Soggiorno a Palaikastron
Reviewed By danielamasucciLa posizione è ottima e strategica per visitare Paleokastro. Avere un parcheggio privato è stato un enorme vantaggio. Ci sono molte cose che vanno migliorate. Innanzitutto il fatto che non abbiamo mai incontrato la proprietaria, cosa abbastanza strana considerato che abbiamo trascorso 5 giorni nei rooms. Secondo, l'acqua calda. Dopo le 20.30 non ce n'è più e bisogna aspettare l'indomani. Giudicate voi. Terzo, la pulizia. È specificato che le pulizie si fanno ogni tre giorni, ma già al secondo giorno le asciugamani avevano un cattivo odore. Ultimo, il letto. Scomodo perché rotto da un lato e non ci si poteva dormire.

Piccola struttura fuori dal centro.
Reviewed By RooobertaLa stanza era pulita e abbastanza grande, il letto basso e duro. Abbiamo dormito nel silenzio più assoluto. Bella vista sulla piana il mare è un poco distante. Accoglienza molto cortese. La struttura si trova fuori dal paese in un piccolo borgo. Parcheggio privato.
