Good average hotel with attentive personnel and tasty food
Reviewed By Sweet_lana1710The hotel itself is not that much trendy or smth but its averagely good, personnel is very attentive to all your requests, food served in hotel's restaurant is very good, more like home-made. Ironing room is on the ground floor and there may be queue. There is no lift as it is just 3 storey building. In the lobby there is free wi-fi zone. Quite near by to Svetlogorsk train station and to the main restaurants, shops and sea-side.

A simple but nice place
Reviewed By Audi77Located on outskirts of Lesnoy village, this small hotel is directly on water and some 10 min walk from the Baltic see beach. The shopping center in Lesnoy is also about 10 min walk. A nice and quite place with clean rooms. Each room has a small ouside patio. A surprisingly good restaurant. Some dogs and cats provide additional company. There is a boat and catamanran available for rent. The staff is very friendly and ready to help. Nice place for a quite and relaxing stay.

Можно просто самостоятельно идти вдоль морской полосы, а можно углубится с экскурсией на Куршскую косу, посетить "Танцующий лес" и высоту Эфа, а также заехать в орнитологическую станцию (очень познавательно)! Очень спокойно, красиво и чисто.

Nice place in the middle of nowhere
Reviewed By Anastasia TExcellent stay for those who are looking for vacation with sea as the only noise. Nearest village is few kilometers away. Beautiful beach with Baltic sand full of amber (no other beach offered this option). Nice restaurant with no big variety but quality food at reasonable price. The quadruple room we had was pretty spacious with no normal window though. People who work here are nice. Those who stay as guests are a wild mixture of nations and characters. the greatest vacation company we had in years! And yes 2 kilometers of the way to the place are a bit bumpy but we figured out this is one of the ways they keep crowds away from this beautiful beach ))))) Opel Astra survived over 30 rides. not too bad. PS No TV (good). No mobile coverage (bad). no Internet access (ohhhh!!!). wild! but this is something you get used to pretty soon. Civilization is 10 minutes away but you would not want it)

Огромное спасибо хозяйке Ларисе за ее отзывчивость и желание сделать наше проживание максимально комфортным. Месторасположение отеля очень удачное: 10-15 минут до моря, столько же - до жд станции, 5 минут - до автобусной остановки, рядом супермаркет. Номер небольшой , но очень уютный. Есть холодильник, чайник, необходимая посуда. Завтраки разнообразные и очень сытные )))))). Очень понравилось. Вернемся с удовольствием((((

Soviet hotel par excellence
Reviewed By Al-GrinI’ve spent a very long day in Sovetsk (5am - 10:30pm) so I have rented a single room there for a day use to have a refuge for approx. 25 EUR in a local currency. It did its job. Single room was clean with tiny balcony facing the main square of the town (not sure if it is good or bad). Room itself was a bit funny (see my picture) but it did its job: I could have a 2 hrs nap, take a shower and leave there some of my belongings. Receptionists were friendly, but they were really concerned very much with some official bureaucracy, e.g. all foreign guests had to be properly registered with local authorities (not their fault probably, there must be strict regulations about a matter). Hotel had WiFi, pretty slow one, but you had to get registered first, then you could get a personal voucher to get connected (well, staying anonymous is not an option there. It’s also a matter of regulations, nothing to do with hotel policy). Breakfast was extremely poor and boring. You may consider skipping it despite the fact there are not too many cafes in Sovetsk. Overall just in case I have to visit Sovetsk again (currently not in my plans) I would probably stay there just because there aren’t too many options in the town.

Very nice guesthouse in beautiful village
Reviewed By Evy HThe guesthouse is located in the beautiful village of Morskoe, very calm village with beautiful houses. The guesthouse is renovated and very clean. We had a spacious room (we had 3 people sleeping in it), it has definitely standard of a guesthouse/bed&breakfast in Europe. Its simple but has a fridge, television, shower with warm water unlimited. The house itself is very comfortable, nice small breakfastroom with breakfast served from 9am. It is not buffet style but they prepare eggs, cheese ham, bread for everyone and kasha with marmelade, tea or coffee. The personnel is friendly and is very dedicated, we ordered a taxi on the departure day and since the taxi driver chose not to show up, the lady on the reception organized a very last minute pick up by some acquaintance from the neighboring village to drive us to the airport. Very dedicated and problem solving! The hotel is cheap and the service is good (if I compare that to a place is Svetlogorsk also in Kaliningrad region and a bit bigger holiday town, this one was MUCH better). The hotel has a place for barbecue and little tables around the house, where you can picknick in very nice garden atmosphere. Wifi is free (you have to provide your cellphone detail to log in, but then it works for any device and quite well). The store is just a few minutes walk (maybe 100m from the guesthouse (or even less)), the beach is probably around 10-15 min walk, very clean and beautiful beach. Right next to the entrance is a bike rental, where you just leave your ID and you can rent (quite simple but functional) bikes for 100 RUB an hour or 400 RUB a day. For an accommodation in Russia - very good value for money and nice, clean rooms, good atmosphere.
