Well Maintained Luxury Budget Hotel

The Front Desk Manager Mr. Sumit Kapoor is a very great and hospitable person that I have ever met. It was 8'o Clock in Morning and we were looking for a nice accommodation option around Mall Road. We found Hotel Solitaire to be the best option for us and booked it. Upon arrival at Hotel, Mr.Sumit let us check-in early morning as quick as he could. The hotel is located near to Mall Road and one has to keep going on circuit house road and then turn to Hadimba Temple Road. The location is perfect with enough parking space. View from the hotel were superb as rooms. After staying one night, We extended it to one more Night as we were extremely happy with the service and people in Hotel. I recommend this hotel to fellow travelers!

Memorable Stay in Hotel Woodstock Kasauli
Reviewed By ratanc1Visited Kasauli from 23rd to 26.05.2022. Stayed at Hotel Woodstock in two premium mountain facing rooms from where you get an excellent view of the mountains and the woods. The view of Sunrise from the balcony at about 5:30 am was breathtaking. Took lot of beautiful pictures and videos from there. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable and absolutely clean with spotless linens. The food was excellent in taste, the housekeeping and room services were fully satisfying and our carparking was absolutely safe and comfortable. We paid about Rs 5000 per day/ room which we found reasonable for the exceedingly satisfying stay we enjoyed thoroughly. We were lucky to experience both rains and clear weather during our stay. The staff was extremely courteous and professional. Mr Bobby, the MD ensured that our stay was made absolutely comfortable. The room service provided by Deepak and front desk person Tarun was commendable Indeed. We surely recommend this hotel for all those who want to have a memorable stay in Kasauli.

Reviewed By AnukyadavKudrat is a beautiful homestay, run by amazing hosts - Sudhir & Bhavna. We stayed at Kudrat in April 2022 and had the most wonderful time there. While the last leg of the journey to Kudrat is a little nerve wracking (really narrow winding roads where you’ll be giving way of trucks and buses!), the destination is definitely worth it. The stay is homely, has great views, scrumptious home cooked food and tastefully done rooms. We got an opportunity to stay in both the stone house and wood house. While all the rooms are beautifully designed, we especially loved the room we stayed at in the wood house. Sudhir & Bhavana are open, warm, extremely helpful and wonderful hosts. They help you with your itineraries, help make reservations for trips in the area, and above all they look after the small details to make your stay and experience comfortable, such as bringing you umbrellas if it’s raining when you reach. If you do not have much planned for the day, you can easily spend the day eating, playing one of the many board games they have, reading or observing the shenanigans of their dogs Ollie and Bhaaloo. Just some things to note about the place and area: the homestay has a few slightly steep stairs. So, if you are not very comfortable with stairs or are travelling with aging parents, this may be something to keep in mind, or atleast be mentally prepared for?. The area itself has mostly trekking/hiking related activities only. If you are not really interested in anything physically strenuous, then you may want to just have ‘me time’ at the property or take easy walks around the property. Tirthan river is a few kilometers away from the property and you will need a car/taxi to get there. Vodafone/Idea does not work there at all. Wi-fi is available only in the common area. Overall, this place is absolutely worth it if you are looking for a quiet peaceful holiday. Thanks team Kudrat for taking such good care of us! ?

I was looking for a quite place, though still within walking distance from college, HH Dalai Lama’s main temple and main square at Mcleodganj , (around 10 minutes)I enjoyed my stay at this place, the kind owner and his staff made sure that I felt at home, providing everything I asked for or helping me out without any hesitation.. This place has now become my future home, when returning back to Mcleod ganj. Last but not least, the views from my balcony on the high mountain peaks, just spectacular! My biggest thanks to this kind family, Vijay my kind caretaker and all the staff members for making my stay wonderful at Ekantlogde.

Reviewed By spbhartiWe were visiting with a group of families and booked 4 rooms in the hotel. We found the service was very poor and sufficient enough to ruin the whole trip. Accommodation is very important part when you are on a vacation. There was always problems in the property. Socket for charger has spark, Fan was not working, Geaser was not working, Taps in washroom were in bad condition, Room not cleaned properly. So many problems!

Fresh home made food at nominal rates,Food can be ordered from outside restaurants.
NICE PLACE BUT WIERD POLICIES
Reviewed By ashah37The location is good and the view from the hotel is very good, only while reaching the hotel you have to navigate a very steep slope which probably only experienced drivers will be able to do it. Its located at Mashobra but unfortunately there isn't much to do in Mashobra. The most surprising part of the hotel was they give only one towel in a double room so two people are supposed to share a towel, Basic hygiene says each person should have an individual towel. The food was just average and many of the items mentioned in the menu were unavailable and the ones available were less in quantity and so the order could not be completed. We had booked for 7 people in three rooms but the hotel charged us for an extra bed despite having mentioned 7 people at the time of booking.
