I am from Marsella, and small town in Colombia, near Pereira, and when I am visiting my family this restaurant is my favorite one in the city.Great food, friendly staff, location, drinks.I highly recommend the rice Peruvian style,"arroz chaufa trilogia" that is great combination of rice, jumbo prawns,chicken,and beef.If you are in the mood for a great drink, ask for the pisco martini.We really love this place.

El lugar te ofrece dos conceptos igual de agradables, al interior, un estilo rustico que te lleva a sentirte en una montaña retirada de la ciudad; por otra, unas pequeñas cabañas al aire libre que te dan vista directa a las montañas risaraldenses. La atención fue amable y su tiempo de servicio bastante rápido.

Great restaurant with a nice atmosphere. You seat on the sidewalk and you can actually people watch while you wait for your food. The steaks were good. But the empanadas that we ordered before were outstanding. I'd say those empanadas were the best thing of our dinner. Great place to go with friends and before going out. its in an area where most of the bars and night clubs are located.

Latinos was located in an almost unseen corner, you can even pass-by and you do not realize that this place is in typical local food. Chef Miguel Angel prepares ancient Coastal and Indian dishes, in Bamboo, or in leaves. He took this time to travel around and re-discover the dishes. Eat there in his now new place local, you will be enchanted, he is an open book of histories and dishes.A place to visit when you are in Pereira.Thank you so much for your valuable opinion!

Ate here while at recent conference. Wanted specifically a place that was unpretentious. .. simple... local and La Ruana was all these. The menu was big, entrees were a bit overpriced. I got cazuela bowl of frijoles

Ambar is one of the most interesting gourmet experience of Pereira. It ranges from European dishes to an Asian-Colombian fusion menu. The portions are generous; which is rare for a restaurant of this category. Service was excellent, our waiter was more than helpful and friendly. Our group ranged from toddlers to beginners to Colombian food, and no one had any complaints.I am not very familiar with the area, so I can not comment about the location.

My husband and I went to this restaurant after reading good reviews and werenât disappointed. The steaks were excellent and serve on a metal plate that kept them warn the whole meal put not any more cooked. The sides were a potato and plantain and were a good compliment. We ordered French fries and breaded mozerella that were also good. The wine menu is small and they brought us three bottls of red wine to choose from. There is no wine by the glass. We choose a 40,000 columbian peso bottle and it was really good. Ambience is chic casual and we saw many families, friends and couples enjoying their meals.
