Perhaps normally the name says it all - but in this case, the name is the reverse.Sassorosso is a way of saying "sexy" in Italian and this Restaurant is far from that.It is obviously pitched to locals and most of the dishes are almost Italian but don't quite make it. The food is ordinary and without the flair expected from good Italian cuisine.The service is excellent but it does not make up for the high prices and ordinary food.Don't bother.Dear Auswiz,Thank you for your time writing this review. "Sassorosso" in Italian means "A Red Stone" and our restaurant is named after a painting by Pittore Peppe Butera that graces our main hall. It our restaurant's policy not to divide our distinguished guests into "locals" and "non-locals". Had a great night with delicious foods on 24/10. A cosy & quiet place. It was a birthday celebration. TQ so much for the surprise balloons & complimentary chocolate cake. Compliment to Chef Domenico, Reuben the Venue Manager & fair tall waiter who attended to us. Chef & Reuben came a few times to chat with the patrons. A shared starter with 2 main enough to make 2 of us full. We were the last customers to leave the restaurant. LOL. Dear firdausmerican, Warmest greetings and thank you for dining at Favola! We booked here on a Friday evening after reading great reviews and we were not disappointed, we both chose the tasting menu but without the wine pairing, every course was superb and the service was also faultless, my personal favorite was the mushroom starter, so.light but with intense flavor which the chef when he came to our table said it takes days to make, if you are looking for a special occasion dinner this place is definitely the place to go.

Situated in a quiet street, you could walk past this place and not even notice it. The inside is dimly lit and the tables outside give no indication they belong to the restaurant. We found Drift only by a Google search but it was worth it. It was a short walk from our hotel on a pleasant summer's evening. We opted to sit outside which is OK as the street is quiet with relatively little traffic. Service was excellent and the waiter was attentive and helpful. Very knowledgeable about the items on the menu and offered a few suggestions. The kitchen is open and it is possible to watch the chefs at work.The food is original, well presented, perfect sized portions and tasted great. There is also an extensive wine list to choose from. if you are looking for something a little different then Drift is worth a visit. Highly recommended.

An Unforgettable Birthday surprise at Prego last night was the FRUIT CAKE specially done by Jeeva and Terry. When they got strict orders from my daughter Dr Shaliz Manmohan that the Birthday Girl, Shazwina Manmohan is lactose intolerant. She eats gluten free food and no sugar. The Birthday cake that was brought to her with the Prego Team, was just amazing. We took part to the Grandmotherâs table on Sunday, friendly big tables like in a family gathering, dishes coming along with delicious burrata, home made pasta and specialties from Puglia. Chef and staff are welcoming and ready to help and decoration is very nice. Will come back!Hi Sibd! Thank you for joining us at NeroNero for our Grandmother's Table! They call them self as a Italian restaurant. HaHaha let me laugh. I ordered salad and salmon. Not much wine and beer choices. I not yet finished my salad waiter bring my salmon. I said let me finished my salmon, waiter said it's ok.no it's not ok. Service poor. Food quality not really great.

People who donât like food generally donât finish it. Nor has anyone ever complained for having to pay 2 Euros for a home made bread basket containing 5 slices of our delicious home made bread basket fresh from the oven. Not a piece of toast as you are lying about.We donât serve wine and made a killing on that like other Italian restaurants so please forgive us for making that 2 Euros when you want to order a whole bread basket on top of your gourmet burger meal.You will be hardpressed to finish a meal in Franceâs top rated Italian restaurant for Euros 14.Then again you have only given 1 star reviews on Tripadvisor so what else to expect. We just had the bad fortune of being the restaurant where you got stood up.

The restaurant is slightly hidden away from the main road - you need to go up some stairs and it is nestled amongst other restaurants there. It was a pleasant find though. They had a good selection in the menu. I was pleased with my main course - it was yummy although the portion was lesser than I had expected.The staff was very friendly. They have a full bar - so you order various cocktails and not just wines. They are especially proud of their homemade limoncello. I had a shot of it. It was good but I am not sophisticated enough on limoncello to know if this is better than the retail bottled versions. It is interesting though.Overall, I did enjoy the evening there.
