With all kinds of fusion food places popping up, it's increasingly rare to find one that actually does it well. I walked into Manja hopeful (and a little sceptical), and am pleased to say that it did not disappoint. The service was outstanding, with Eshwari (the restaurant manager) being a great host who was articulate in her explanation of each dish's flavours and ingredients. The Borneo Coconut Tuna and Paneer and Mango Salad were excellent examples of Malaysian fusion flavours. Extra points for the creative use of local 'Ulam Raja' as salad leaves! The only drawback (hence the 4-star rating) was that the price tag ended up being a little steep. The bill came up to over RM350 for 2 pax (3 small sharing plates, 1 medium sharing plate, 1 drink) and the portions were rather small.Aside from that, well done to the team at Manja for showcasing Malaysian flavours so well!Dear WhenVTravels, We are very happy that you enjoyed your Manja experience. The food and drinks here are a bit pricey for sure. However, the crowd is great and the atmosphere usually excellent, in the couple of times I have been here. The pizza is quite good and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I have to say that I do like this place for a night out!

Went to the restaurant for the second time and brought a friend with me, went for their degustation menu, and we made the right decision!Had a bit of a glitch for the reservation but contacted the restaurant directly and they fixed it in no time. Props to the chefs, the first degustation menu months back and those in Sep are different, and it was much more exciting especially the dessert action. Nothing to complain really, the food was excellent, service was also great, the ambiance at Beta was also accommodating. We had a great time and will do it again but next tine we will try the A La Carte menu!!!!

A good theme bar, good food and nice cold beer. The staff are really friendly especially Abdullah, we had such a good evening I nearly forgot to pay the bill!. (Also a great place to watch sport, the world cup final will be mad tomorrow night!) If your in KL, get down there!

The restaurant is slightly hidden away from the main road - you need to go up some stairs and it is nestled amongst other restaurants there. It was a pleasant find though. They had a good selection in the menu. I was pleased with my main course - it was yummy although the portion was lesser than I had expected.The staff was very friendly. They have a full bar - so you order various cocktails and not just wines. They are especially proud of their homemade limoncello. I had a shot of it. It was good but I am not sophisticated enough on limoncello to know if this is better than the retail bottled versions. It is interesting though.Overall, I did enjoy the evening there.

The Glenrothes flight of 12years, 18years and 25years was delightful. Each being more expressive than the former and definitely worth your while. This was followed by the Royal Brackla and we were actually blown away. This was a single cask, 11 year old rated at 60% so there was a bit of a burn. Even so it was just excellent. We rounded up with the very peaty Laphroaig and although I am not too fond of peaty Whisky I thought it was quite enjoyable. We were served by Arif throughout and I must add that he is excellent. Kudos to Andy for his expertise and management of the bar and creating a superb environment. Hi Leonj59, thanks for leaving us such a lovely review! It's indeed a pleasure serving you towards a memorable whisky drinking experience! Glad that you enjoyed our whisky collection (more than 800 labels) and great hospitality from Arif. Great impression when reach the place. Parking is free and take good care by the Jokey. Car park is in house with multiple level inside the building. Receptionist reconfirm our reservation and serve welcome drink( alcohol or non alcohol) . We take the alcohol.Reach to rooftop, environment is great for friends gathering or couple who enjoy their moment here.Food serve in good presentation. Wine is good. Overall we enjoy our dinner here.
