Very good pizzas for a great price. Very friendly people too. It's possible to eat there and the ambiance is decent for a quick bite. Better than most cheap pizzerias, like those screaming döner kebab joints. It's possible to eat inside and outside. The dry red wine is also quite good.

I entered really late the Restaurant and asked for something to eat. other places would have told me : "sorry kitchen is closed" - but here it was no Problem. Very good. i ordered the salad "Alte Post" and that was very good. Very fresh, very crisp . extra pizza-bread was no Problem and I liked to eat there very much.

Voor mij vanuit Venlo dichtbij, parkeergelegenheid en indien die vol is, langs de weg (let op! parkeer met de rijrichting mee, of eventueel aan de achterzijde van het blok (paar minuten lopen). Zoals gezegd, ik ben er vaak geweest, ik wissel mijn keuzes wat af al heb ik wat favorieten, de pizza Valentino, de tagliatella uit de oven, een salade. Vooraf krijg je standaard wat broodjes met kruidenboter. Er zijn ook voorgerechten maar aan de hoofdmaaltijd heb je normaal gesproken voldoende. Een groot glas wijn erbij, een espresso na.. Bediening, vriendelijk.. Prijzen, heel redelijk.. Kwaliteit eten, och, ik houd van Italiaans, ik eet het veel dus als ik hier terug blijf komen dan zal het wel goed zijn zeker. In ieder geval beter dan wat ik in Venlo vind..

Etwas versteckt am Reiterhof Pappelhof liegt das Restaurant "Der Pappelhof".Leider etwas versteckt, sodass man es ohne Navi schlecht bis gar nicht findet.In einer rustikalen Scheune mit Charme werden die Gäste hier mit sehr guter italienischer Küche versorgt. Es gibt eine Standardkarte mit typischen Schnitzelgerichten sowie wöchentlich wechselnde Speisen. Von Fisch (Lachs, Gambas, Dorade.. etc.), verschiedene selbstgemachte Nudelspeisen und einer Fleischkarte mit einer Auswahl an Rumpsteak Varianten. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr sehr frisch und schmeckt auch besonders gut. Aus der Küche gibt es vorab etwas Bruschetta was noch auf warmen Baguette serviert wurde. Das Restaurant ist eher kleiner und wird sehr nett geführt. Man wird rundum versorgt.Das Restaurant hat nur Freitags bis einschlieÃlich Sonntags von 17-22 Uhr geöffnet.Es gibt kein Fassbier aber das ist vollkommen okay und wirtschaftlich nachvollziehbar.Ich hatte Gambas mit Nudeln. Super lecker und wirklich frisch. Die besten Gambas die ich im Umkreis je gegessen habe. Auch das Rumpsteak war ziemlich gut.Hätten wir noch etwas anderes bzw. extra Wünsche gehabt, hätte der Koch uns auch dies ermöglicht.Manchmal spielt dort jemand im Hintergrund Gitarre - sehrAuf der Facebook Seite findet man die wöchentlich wechselnde Speisekarte. Für jeden ist etwas dabei.

I have now been here a few times as Italian colleagues recommended it and have not yet had anything to complain!The menu is traditional Italian, no pizza but the pasta is amazing! Service is friendly and good.If you want to eat good Italian food in a setting that makes you believe you are having dinner at an original Italian family then this is the place to go! Enjoy!!!

We've been there with friends for a dinner. Food was really delicious, so delicious I've managed to take photos of the deserts only :-)We had different pastas, apetizers, pizza, some fish dish as well. House wine is good, both red and white. Coffee excelent. Size of meals are really solid, so be prepared you may not find room in your stomach for desert. Which again was delicious. Staff speaks English fluently, although there were no English menus, but they translated and explained everything in the flight. Owner was here and there all the time, which made us feel comfortable. A big plus for the staff, they are really great.

Good welcome... Good service... Friendly staff... They serve Italian food mainly with wine and other alcoholic drinks... It is a cozy place, romantic, quiet... Nice setting and atmosphere... Fair prices... I had a nice asparagus pizza... It was good...but the it needs more cheese...

Die Pizza ist gut belegt und nicht zu trocken. Sie schmeckt sehr lecker . Aber keine dünne und keine Steinofenpizza. Trotzdem eine gute Alternative. Sagenhaft auch die Pizza Brötchen. Fazit...Daumen hoch.

Never thought that i could find such a great italian restaurant in a small village. 2 brothers running that place with great pasion. And a friendly lady who served the food. The food was great. We did try a lot to get a good taste. Startes the octopus tender and just perfect, the pasta with truffel and parmesan cheese. Great taste and light. Than the angus beef and schweienekarbonade right on the spot. We sure will be back. Keep the pasion for your restaurant men.

Itâs italian but has a far higher standard of cuisine than your run of the mill Italian restaurant, I donât even think it had pizza on the menu! Very nice flavours. Lovely staff, helpful and friendly.
