As Convivium was closed so we tried this restaurant and were mostly pleased with the choice. We chose the daily porcini menu, and were treated to fried porcini and then porcini in a pasta. The antipasto needed more dipping sauce but portions were large. The restaurant agreed to include desserts of our choice and both were excellent, especially the Bunet. Staff were young, attentive and dynamic. Wine was good. Overall, good value for money. The only disappointment was the "decoration" in the main dining room - and this is so important in a restaurant. The walls were hung with dreadful paintings - a huge, careless, distorted view of Venice - my home town to boot!! Pleased to recommend this location, nevertheless.

I visited "La Venaria reale" together with a group of friends and after a long day at the "Royal Palace", we really wanted to find a nice place where to have dinner.We were just deciding where to go and what to do when we find a nice review on tripadvisor about this restaurant and when we enter we were welcomed in a nice way and they explained us that there was a "surprise menu" with starter and main course ( you could choose from starter and meat or starter and fish etc). We had many different "little starters" and also the main course, the Brasato al barolo was excellent.We also had a wonderful wine of the area named Ruche'. If you ever visit this area I would definitely tell you to stop and try this restaurant.Grazie per la sua recensione e per la sua visita. Spero di riverivi se ritornate a visitare il nostro paese.

We had great Aperitivo (or Apericena: drinks with food) at Una Volta, which is one of the finest places in Veneria Reale to do so: incredibly original products, highly natural and very tasty dishes, served by very knowing proprietors in a stimulating and enticing environment. Congratulations!

We visited as a family group. Food was very nice. Our children loved it.Very affordable.The food was presented in a wrap. It's local speciality bread. Large choice of fillings.Billed as street food.We are staying at Veneria Reale and there are not many tourists. This restaurant is situated in a large pedestrian sheet leading to a piazza and a castle.Recommend

There's really no doubt this is the best restaurant in Venaria Reale I've tested many restaurants in Venaria but there's no contest with this placeThe place is not easy to find as there's no sign outside but worth the effortOnce inside you feel really at home and be given explanations about the dishes and components Really not to miss the "filetto of Fassona" which is simply greatDesserts are great and of course wine as wellPrice is really acceptable and affordableI'll be back for sure and highly recommend it

We were invited by our Italian friends to this restaurant. It was a night to remember as the service was second to none and the food was presented to us in the most professional manner. The restaurant itself is very chic and classical and you feel pampered all the time. The choice of the wine is excellent too . The restaurant manager was passing by our table every now and then to check if everything was ok and if we needed anything else. Very professional. Highly recommended but you must book your table to avoid disappointment. Trust me...you will have a lovely evening at Il Capitolo .
