Ate lunch here every day of my holiday to Ostuni, for the second year running. Fantastic fresh seafood. The setting is magnificent. Great spaghetti with ricci, fried mixed seafood, grilled octopus, alici, gamberoni, local wine in jugs. Casual and laid-back, with paper tablecloths and plastic cups, which to me is part of the appeal, having eaten in many fancy restaurants all over the world. You can turn up in your flip flops and beachwear so the plastic chairs are ideal. Yes the staff are also laid-back, so they suit the place perfectly! They never rush you, you just end up feeling beautifully relaxed by the end of your meal. I just can't understand other reviewers who complain about these things, as you can see what sort of a place it is as soon as you drive up in your car. Please go to try it and see for yourself!

Why three points third time around? Despite having upgraded chairs and tables and maintaining the standard of the food, the welcome has become brusque and beware if you haven't reserved (???) really? for a street restaurant where we non-italians are usually eating and hour if not more before the italians do.So I would no longer return as there is food just as good with friendly, welcoming service in the butcher shops in the surrounding area.If a quick, cheap bite is what you're after than it still remains an excellent place to feed yourself - beef carpaccio excellent.

Very good octopus grilled in a big metal contraption parked behind the bar area, tasty swordfish carpaccio, really fresh raw squid and excellent seafood pasta. Salads were good, too. We didn't have sea urchins because they were out of season. The restaurant started in a typically ad hoc Italian way and has added an extra tent every now and then as it became popular. I just hope it doesn't lose it's simplicity or freshness when I next have a chance to visit.

It is something of a relief to find that L'Oasi has not changed all that much in the 10 years we have been going there. Its position is perfect- right next to the sea with tables both inside and out of the temporary covered area. The food is well cooked fresh seafood, simply served with a jug of local wine and basket of fresh bread - what more could you ask on a sunny day? The prices are also very reasonable. This place has kept its genuine character when many other places along the coast have been trying with varying degrees of success to go up market. Long may it continue!

Having found this because we tried to get into a local restaurant that was booked we actually stumbled upon one of our favourite places we visited the whole week.Lovely outside garden, great service and attentive waiter.Great variety of options for food including meat options in a predominantly fish area.Would highly recommend

Maybe it is too much call it restaurant but if you want real fresh seafood, coming from the sea you are looking at when seating in this unique place, you must go there. Impressing. The price is affordable the service fast enough. Try the spaghetti ai ricci that means with sea urchins something remarkable. A place where i want to come again, for sure.

Location stupenda valorizzata da un parco di ulivi ben curato, locale carino, servizio buono ma soprattuto buona la carne nei suoi vari tagli. Il prezzo è forse in po' sopra la media ma a conti fatti si può fare!!!!

In fact during the day the restaurant is a butchery and in the evening is transforming in a sort of restaurant.You go into the butchery anc choose your meat and they will prepare the meat for you (grilled) and you can serve it on a terrace . Very good meat and very good grilled.

We had a great time at Il Cortiletto! The restaurant has a lovely backyard with only a few tables => great for a relaxed dinner in a dreamy atmosphere! The service was outstanding and the prices are very cheap for the high quality meals. The owner was very friendly and made an excellent wine choice for us. Iâm not going to tell you about the food. There are no words that can describe what we experienced. You can really taste the love, passion and respect that the chefs put in there! Make a reservation as fast as you can or youâll regret it!
