Un ottimo ristorante italiano. Owned and operated by the Carlino family, this restaurant is one of my favorite places to dine. The menu has enough variety for every palate, and the food is always very good. The best part of the experience is the superb customer service. The Carlinos always treat you like you are part of the family. Dine outside in the warm months, or enjoy the warm environment inside all year round. They speak German and Italian, but English speakers can get by just fine.

Here with local friends, our group numbered six. The meal was leisurely paced definitely not rushed. Very welcoming environment if not a bit crowded and noisy. Extensive menus with enough options for us vegetarians. I was not to keen on my entree because the salmon was fishy but everything else was nice. The service was better than the food with highly polished professional waiters. Prices were moderate but there were a a few costly menu items that nobody at our table ordered. Next time I would avoid the fish but otherwise it's a keeper.

So unwillkommen war mein Geld selten. Der Wirt vermittelt einem sofort das Gefühl das man dankbar sein darf wenn er antwortet. Und das auch noch in einem beeindruckend müffeligen Ton. Das Essen war unterer Durchschnitt - Ambiente lieblos. Nie wieder.

Il Mondo has excellent service and a very friendly staff. The atmosphere is great and most importantly, the food is amazing. I had the beef tartar to start and then the Pizza Mama Mia which is spicy just as advertised. But if youâre a little bit crazy and need it to be spicier, they will be happy to take care of you.

Punkt 1: Freundlichkeit - perfekt! Punkt 2: Ambiente - gut! Punkt 3: Essen - gut bis sehr gut! So sieht die Wertung sachlich aus. Punkt 1 macht es aber aus, dass man sich wohl fühlt, einen Abend genieÃen kann und gern wiederkommt. Wenn wir "To Go" Pizza und Nudeln holen, gehen wir zur Pizzeria Mona Lisa, wenn wir "stationär" essen möchten, ist das Da Rocco eine gute Wahl.

The first and only restaurant with gluten free Italian food I have found in the Mainz/Wiesbaden area. The pizza is made to order with fresh ingredients. I had the gluten free pizza bruschetta. The pizza was excellent with a nice crispy crust. The pizza is made with rice flour and stored separately from all other non-gluten free doughs. They also have gluten free lasagne and tiramisu. I will be going back to try those soon. Highly recommended for anyone who is gluten intolerant or with Celiacs.

First, it's way off the beaten path and if you don't know Mainz....pull out the GPS. It's on the far south end of the city. Parking within the property is limited to five or six cars, so prepare to find a place along the street. As for the garden, it is a very well landscaped garden area with umbrellas and a terrific place to entertain friends or clients. Food is absolutely Sicilian in nature and the staff are the BEST that you will find in any Mainz restaurant. Authentic dishes....great salad....decent wine list. Pricing reasonable. Reservations are probably mandatory for Friday or Saturday evening. Would strongly recommend the place but it's nowhere near the river front and about tens minutes from the autobahn.

This drab little restaurant has a few tables inside and a few outside between the delivery scooters and the road so eating here isn't going to be a highlight. The pizza toppings are fairly average with the usual ingredients on offer but what IS good however is the pizza dough. This results in a better than average pizza experience if collected or delivered.

Das Il Siciliano hat nur einen Nachteil - es liegt an der HauptstraÃe in Bodenheim. Die Plätze im Freien sind damit einigermaÃen laut.Das Il Siciliano bietet gute italienische Küche von Vorspeisen (Primi) über Hauptspeisen (Secondo) und natürlich diverse Nachspeisen (Dolce). Die Karte ist ausreichend umfangreich. Die Vorspeise (Caprese) war gut und nett angerichtet - auch der Preis von 6,80 ⬠geht in OrdnungDie Hauptspeise (eigentlich als Vorspeise gedacht) mit Spaghetti Putanesca war sehr gut gewürzt mit Kapern, Oliven, Tomaten usw. Die Menge war natürlich nicht auf Hauptspeise sondern Vorspeise bezogen. Der Preis von ⬠7,90 ging völlig in Ordnung. Als Nachspeise wurde Crema Catalana gewählt. Sehr gut gemacht für ⬠5,50.Die Bedienungen sind sehr bemüht und die Speisen kamen schnell. Es werden Biere vom Fass und div. WeiÃbiere angeboten. Zusätzlich natürlich offene Weine.Am Mittwoch ist im Ãbrigen Nudeltag (6â¬), am Donnerstag ist Pizzatag (alle 6 â¬)Fazit: Preis/Leistungsverhältnis passt, nettes Ambiente

Very good food and friendly service!! We had the newly harvested aspargus with scnitzel and potstoes, it was very nice. I had the tiramisu for dessert, very BIG one and nice taste. Provning ok with regards to the quality of the food. Thank you!
