No matter how good the food, and itâs good, it only takes one waiter with attitude and poor service to spoil a good meal. Places that assume you are a visitor, and will probably not return anyway, should not be in the fine dining business. Good chefs donât deserve poor servers!

After starting our Colombia trip in Bogotá and having our last night here before flying home we wanted to end on a special evening and Tapas Macarena delivered! The food was out of this world delicious and the service was fantastic thanks to Gabriel! The restaurant is small so you have to book or turn up early and it is sooo worth it! Some of the best food Iâve had in a long time and the best wine! Probs the best food I ate in Colombia!! Thank you for choosing us for your last dinner. In deed, Tapas Macarena is a small place, with great food. We cook as if we were at home, welcoming our guests. Please come back soon to this incredible country and of course come back to Tapas Macarena. Cheers!

This is a family-owned, 2nd generation Bogotá classic which is lovingly and carefully managed and often full to the gills with the cityâs biggest power players/repeat customers at lunch or dinner. They use the finest ingredients and every dish is executed to perfection. The space is in a semi-basement and quite formal with attentive, impeccable, well-trained service, which many long time clients appreciate (itâs not trendy and thatâs not their thing but that does not mean that this is not one of the best restaurants in town.) A place we return to over the years because they consistently deliver a very high quality experience. One of the few places with moist duck, truly ripe tomatoes, actual gambas and morcilla de burgos.

This place is veey fancy. We were almost alone in the restaurant but we got the best service ever. The menu was big with many options but the presentation of the foid was the best part. Whoever commented on their fruit juices picked something else. Mine was an explosion of flavors. The empanada candelaria changed my mind about this aspect of Colombian cuisine. Now for the tomato soup. In Godâs name donât think Campbellâs. Weâve talking parallel universe. No connection whatsoever with your childhood soup. Delicately yet complexly assembled flavors fashioned into a smooth ambrosia. Thanks for your amazing visit, hope to have you here again!

Located near the medical campus of Juan Corpas university this small restaurant has an Italian chef from northern Italy cooking. They have regular luncheon specials with hearty amount of food, and good sized menu offerings beyond. Limited drinks service. Pasta was properly cooked but sauce could have had a bit more punch and chees with pasta dish would have been appreciated. The desserts were good in number and excellent.

The food was excellent and the presentation was phenomenal - very gourmet. The waiter and the owners were so nice and approachable. The desserts were amazing. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the neighborhood La Macarena or Bogota. They have a cute backdoor patio and unique interior decor. The front room facing the street was our favorite. Highly recommend this place.

Shared several dishes at Tamarine Including the lobster roll, noodles, tuna and shrimp. The tuna and shrimp were the best but the other dishes were good too. The fish was fresh tasting and all the food was well prepared and well presented. Our meal started with a house offering of a tasty yoghurt dip with chips and a local beverage.
