We ate here frequently because the food was consistently excellent, the setting put us in the heart of the street action and the feisty lady owner was welcoming and happy for us to come and go. Highly recommended to take a roadside table, work your way through a range of tasty dishes, watch as the holy cows call at neighbouring houses for their ritual chapatis, refresh with an amazing lassi, watch some kabaddi on TV with the clever children, chill with beers, wander up to Orchha palace, return to sample a few more dishes, prime yourself with fresh coffee to run the gauntlet as a pedestrian amidst the cows, monkeys, buffaloes and motorbikes on the main street at sunset, then come back for a few more beersâ¦

We visited the restaurant twice. Once we ate a margherita pizza and fettuccine pasta in tomato base - both were good. The next time we ordered a spaghetti in tomato base and fettuccine with bechamel sauce, a pizza (a tropical pizza with pineapples). Both times we had beer and peanut masala which was good as well. The pizza was made with a thin crust and quite good. I would recommend the fettuccine or spaghetti in tomato based sauce and the margherita pizza. Both were good.

23-24 July, 2016.We stayed at this place for a night, from 23 to 24 July, 2016,and had dinner, and breakfast at the extremely impressive Bundela Restaurant.When we had landed up at Orchha, and checked in, we were tired,and..hungry. The restaurant is extremely neat and clean, and welllaid out. The decoration is rather tasteful. The lighting is soft,without giving the impression of being insufficient. The tablecloth is cream-coloured, with a red chequered diamond-shapedupper cloth being placed on top.There are some smaller tables with a copper-coloured table-cloth.The chairs are stylish. The wall is adorned with many exquisitelithographs of monuments in the area. The service is friendly, and polite.The dinner portions were decent. We had dal, a mixed vegetablepreparation, jeera aaloo, and washed it down with fresh lime soda.The morning breakfast had paranthas, puri-sabji, and corn flakes and milk.We enjoyed our stay at the place, and the food as well!

The restaurant in the Seesh Mahal hotel serves good food. The staff is helpful unlike other government run heritage hotels. It's an excellent place to relax after completing your tour of Jehangir Mahal and Orchha fort. The prices are reasonable. We had lunch here twice during our stay in Orchha. Both Indian and Chinese items were good.

A lovely terrace, chilled atmosphere and uber-friendly staff. What else do you need?This cafè is so cozy I don't feel like leaving Orchha.Make sure to stop here, even just for a cup of their yummy masala chaiThank you for letting others know about your experience at cafe nomads, We really appreciate it . Walking along after seeing amazing sites we found the great Orchha Hut. Watch out for it - .very refreshing beer with delightful Ranu. Food stop in the evening looks a shout as well

This family owned restaurant was fantastic! We were the only ones there and we ordered one of our favorite Indian dishes. The kitchen was in view of the sitting area, so we asked if we could watch them cook. They then invited us into the kitchen and taught is how you cook it! They were very sweet!

The owner was very friendly. We were in a rush as we had to leave for a night train. When we walked past the restaurant later with our bags he asked if we had a booked tuk tuk and when we said we didn't he asked us what we wanted to pay, told us to sit and wait, and got us a tuk tuk as he knew we would be overcharged. Thank you!We ate thalis. They were tasty and of a good size. The owner was very considerate and kindly turned off our light and turned on a light nearby so, even though it was a bit darker, it meant we no longer had the small bugs flying or landing near us as we ate.

A good choice for people that donât east so spicy. If you tell them you donât want it spicy they really understand, unlike the most of them. The food is tasty, has all the Indian flavors but no chilly! Which is excellent for people like me, who want ti get the taste without burning out my taste buds . Servers are nice and they speak a fair English. Totally recommend!
