Apart verblijf midden in de woestijn
Reviewed By André HWe verbleven van 22 tot 24 januari in Alojamiento Casa de Campo los Cactus. Hartelijke ontvangst. We hadden de cabana van plastic flessen geboekt. Het huisje is erg eenvoudig. Geen warm water, geen electriciteit dus neem een zaklantaarn mee. Het ligt echter prachtig in de woestijn de la Tatacoa. We hebben daar ontbijt en diner meegegeten want er zijn bijna geen restaurants in de directe omgeving. Het ontbijt en het diner waren eenvoudig maar goed. We hebben een leuk en apart verblijf gehad in Alojamiento Casa de Campo los Cactus.

Perfect location in the desert - easy to organize even if you do not speak Spanish
Reviewed By bkkerThe double room with pool view is very comfortable, even if you do not see the pool. But the view from the terrace of this detached bungalow is even better - it goes over the desert and by night you can watch the stars. Everything is spotlessly clean and the staff very friendly. I was a bit worried about the communication and the organisation of the transfer and a guide as I do not speak Spanish. But in fact is was very easy. Sent them a WhatsApp with my requests and they made sure that I was contacted by the taxi driver (by WhatsApp). Pick-up and drop-off from / to the airport worked very well. If no English speaking guide is available (I do not know if there is one available in the whole area), just ask the hotel staff for Jason. He speaks a little English, is fun and very knowledgeable. And be is able to explain without a lot of words so that we had a great tour through the grey and red dessert. I would absolutely recommend this hotel if you plan to stay in Tatacoa.

Simple but great place to stay
Reviewed By 263astridwDon’t expect any luxury in Villavieja. This hotel is great to stay becuase is fairly priced, the staff is helpful and kind, they help you organizing tours and even ordering food for you, the breakfast is good, they have a mango tree right there in the patio. The rooms have air conditioning and the beds are comfortable. Since Villavieja is so small, this hotel is well located as it is very near everything.

super hôtel et charmant accueil
Reviewed By 453nathaCharmant hôtel à 2 pas du centre de Villavieja ainsi que du désert de Tatacoa. chambres vraiment très propres , accueil au top , personnel au petit soin, et très arrangeants car nous étions arrivés très tôt et avons pu avoir notre chambre avant l'heure du check ... nous conseillons les yeux fermés !

Reviewed By Fabienne_1892Empfehlenswert für Leute die etwas abgelegen sein wollen und die gehobenere Küche vom Nachbarshotel geniessen möchten dann sind Sie hier genau richtig. Die Anlage, Räumlichkeiten und die Umgebung ist traumhaft. Für uns hat das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis jedoch nicht gepasst. Das Frühstück war für den Preis nicht besonders speziell (Früchte, Ei, Toast) Klar, man konnte noch den Pool vom anderen Hotel (3 Gehminuten) mitbenutzen der jetzt aber auch nicht der Wahnsinn war. Im Nachbarshotel gibt es ein Restaurant welches aber für kolumbianische Verhältnisse viel zu teuer ist. Zu günstigeren Restaurant läuft man ungefähr 20-30 min. Taschenlampe nicht vergessen für den Rückweg im Dunkeln. Die Rote Wüste ist auch etwas weiter entfernt 30min Laufzeit. Die Gastgeberin hat sich reichlich Mühe gegeben uns einem schönem Aufenthalt zu machen. Auf booking.com ist der Standort zentraler eingezeichnet. Viel Spass in der Tatacoa-Wüste dies ist ein echter Hingucker.

Reviewed By spc354Family run. Reception friendly. Good breakfast and coffee. Internet Wi-fi good. Convenient location for desert visit to Tatacoa. Street parking. Bathroom very small, which is the only complaint. Access to the commode was restricted :).

Lindo y acogedor hotel!
Reviewed By 687lauracmEs un hotel pequeño construido con guadua y con un árbol de mamoncillo en el cetro que le da mucha frescura, el personal es muy amable y servicial, nos ayudaron y orientaron sobre qué sitios visitar en el centro de Villavieja y nos coordinó el guía para el desierto. Las habitación es espaciosa, muy cómoda y limpia. Nos gusto mucho la estancia y muy agradecidos con Naya

A very nice hotel with a swimming pool
Reviewed By GSzymanThe hotel has clean air conditioned rooms, a pleasant swimming pool and a common space where one can, for example, have some breakfast (as the hotel doesn't offer one). The hotel is run by a friendly family who also helped us arrange a trip to the desert. The hotel is centrally located a few steps from the main plaza; everything is close by.
