A good nights sleep and a lovely breakfast usually does the trick when you’re on the move. Also feeling at home adds a lot to that. That’s our idéa here at Hotell Park. Cosy, snug and almost like home. We have a total of 11 diffrent rooms, small single room, double room, large double rooms and family rooms. We are located in the city centre of Vastervik and you have restaurants cafés and shops within walking distance . We will always do our best to make sure you feel right at home.
Charming and well located
Reviewed By laura gThis charming hotel is beautiful and cozy. In addition to being exceptionally clean, it is very clearly well run in all other ways. The rooms are each unique and have old world charm, but with an updated feel. The bathrooms are also very clean and up to date. The breakfast room is pleasant and comfortable with tea, coffee and hot chocolate always available and a good breakfast offered in the morning. Chatting with the delightful couple who own and run the hotel was a pleasure. The hotel is well located in this quiet seaside town. We visited in low season, but we can easily tell that the summer there would be lovely.

Nice location
Reviewed By DIF1891The hotel are well located in the small town. Older standard hotel with budget renovated bathrooms. The car park at the hotel was full so we were directed to paid parking nearby. However, we found free 24 hour parking on the street Esplanaden about 100 meters away. Our room was on the ground floor overlooking the courtyard where guests sat and talked, luckily that part closed at 22:00. Ceiling fan and refrigerator in the room. OK breakfast.

Reviewed By susanna385When booking the room via Hotels.com I wrote a message about our late arrival. In response I got an email straight from the hotel and there was a copy of my message, so I assumed that they had got the information. We have stayed in many hotels in Sweden and there has never been any problems with late check-ins: sometimes they have sent us some code for the doors, sometimes there has just been an envelope with our name in it. Not this time. We arrived at the hotel and there was no one there and no information about check-in. I called to number that I found in the email. That male employee was super irritated and kept saying that we should have called that we are coming late, because the reception was closed. He said he could come in 10 minutes if we paid an extra fee (800kr) and I said that we had no other choice... When he came I explained and showed him the email but he didn´t want to look at it. He said that we had two choices: to leave and try to find another hotel (he even said it was impossible) or to pay that extra fee. And obviously we didn´t have a choice and paid all that extra. He said that this was not their problem. Afterwards I sent an email to Fängelset but I´m still waiting for an answer! Seems like they are not willing to be in contact about the issue. (The room was also super warm, all the other staff members unfriendly and the breakfast wasn´t any better.)

Reviewed By 662kristinefVi rekommenderar varmt detta ställe. Vi behövde en natts övernattning på väg ned till Öland. Trevligt värdfolk som mottog oss i vackert hus från 1800-talet. Mysiga rum med många fina detaljer. Vi sov gott i stor säng. Rent och behagligt. Otrolig utsikt. God frukost med juice, yoghurt, ägg, bröd med många typer av pålägg. Även hemlagad marmelad. En riktig pärla.

Hasselo Hostel offers comfortable accommodation, with bright and well-furbished rooms, only a few hundred meters from the water, on the family-friendly and vibrant archipelago island of Hasselo. There is a well-equipped kitchen, laundry room, a large dining room and TV. Outside the hostel there is a garden with BBQ facilities and a large area to play games. The hostel is open all year round and is suitable for courses, conferences and parties. As a group, you can rent the entire facility, with or without catering. Reviewed By ClaesKalasSpent a short break with the family. Very nice corona/off-season solution where we had the main building to ourselves. Great hospitality, great atmosphere - with the fireplace room as an extra bonus. Great catering from the Sjökanten restaurant for dinner and lunch.

Nice but expensive
Reviewed By MirvaKooCamping site in a nice location by the ocean. Rented a cabin which was well equipped but price was higher than staying in a hotel! And hotel would have included cleaning & breakfast. Nice swimming facilities and things to do for children. No chance to use grill/fireplace if it rains. Even when it is sunny, need to have your own wood.

Reviewed By LejomiBoendet ligger väldigt centralt så man bor på bästa läget. Rummen är mycket små men väldigt fräscha och sängen var mycket bekväm. Det finns sällskapsytor i huset och en stor balkong samt veranda med utsikt över vattnet/staden. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Vi fick till och med checka in 3 timmar tidigare. Bra frukostutbud. Gratis parkering finns några hundra meter längre bort på gatan. Jag skulle absolut välja detta boende igen när jag besöker Västervik.

Exceptional and unusual apartment
Reviewed By Me NWe stayed two nights in a three-bedroom suite. It was quite an exceptional apartment with wonderful views and was spotlessly clean on our arrival. It was all very relaxing. Breakfast was excellent. However, we think the apartment would benefit by a few more basic items on the inventory. For example, there were many wine glasses but no bottle opener. There were dishwasher tablets but no plates. We don’t really think it should be necessary to ask for plates. My tip would be to sit down and think about what people are likely to do in such an apartment and equip it accordingly.
