Amazing food. Hotel is superbly clean. Room and beds very comfortable. Easter was a great time to go- we were able to ski, snow shoe and hike!

Very nice hotel but slightly overpriced for what it offered
Reviewed By DSBTravellerFamily visit in April 2022. The staff are excellent and very attentive. The restaurant service is also very good and the quality of food in the evening is superb. Great spa (indoor and outdoor pools plus two sauna areas - one "traditional" Austrian with various saunas and a steam room and one "textile" sauna by the main pool. The location isn't ski in - ski out but as others have noted you get complimentary ski and boot storage at the Intersport opposite the main Galzig lift (whether you have rented from them or not) which means you can walk there in 5 minutes in normal shoes. On the downside I found the rooms to be too hot (even with the thermostat turned down to the minimum) which meant we had to leave the window open in our room, whilst the children's room only had a door to a balcony with no window so they roasted. The downside of leaving the window open is that you get occasional bar noise late at night (it is a ski resort after all and we've all done it...) I also felt that there were some missing touches in the bedrooms - stretchy staticky nylon sheets aren't what I expect in a 4*S hotel and the toiletries offered in the bathroom consisted of shower gel stuck to the wall and a small tube of moisturiser (which was replenished when empty). I also would have expected a Nespresso machine or kettle at the least for pre-breakfast drinks. Don't get me wrong - this is a great hotel, but it costs about €1500 more per room than similar hotels in other top Austrian ski resorts - maybe that's just a St Anton thing...

Von meinem Zimmer war ich sofort begeistert: wunderschöner Balkon, bequemes Bett, eine Teestation bestehend aus Wasserkocher und diversen Teevariationen,… Auch das Frühstücksbüffet war ein Traum. Alles da… vor allem die Presse für frischen Orangensaft fand ich super! Das Personal mit der gewohnten österreichischen Herzlichkeit. Ich komme wieder!!!!!

We are a 3 star hotel garni in st. anton am arlberg. we provide 7 double bed rooms, 3 triple bed rooms and 2 big apartments. hotel bacherhof offers bed & breakfast in a good location. we are located about 800 meters to the next ski lift station (nassereinbahn). with the free village ski bus you can reach the lift station within 3 minutes by bus.

Reviewed By sylvainl771The Garni Bauerhof Hotel is a 3 floor big house with no lift that is situated far from the Sankt Anton ski resort centre. Just opposite, there is a farm stable with very strong smells. Upon arrival, you must type a code at the front door to access the reception on the 1st floor. The room and bathroom are clean and spacious & comfortable. The main disappointment is the breakfast: 1st,- Breakfast is served too late (not before 8 am ) 2nd- There is very little to eat and apart from 4 slices of low-range sweet chocolate cake, guests are only served salty foods The value for money of Garni Bacherhof during low season & off-peak periods (we stayed on 31st May, when the Sankt Anton station is empty) is not very good,

Reviewed By capriskmanExcellent facilities that's are well maintained. The rooms are well sized and are completely furnished for those that want to cook. The beds are comfortable and the rooms well heated and quiet. The hosts are very considerate and offer daily pastry service for breakfast that can be ordered the night before. The apartment house is located just a 5 minute walk to the main lift and an assortment of restaurants. The location makes is easy to access the hill and the village, however, the far end of the village may take a short drive.

Excellent apartments
Reviewed By MarcelD265We stayed at Apartments Kohlereck in the first week of February 2020. Our stay and experience would have to be one of the best in 10 years of wintersports. The apartment was very clean and tidy, had a well equiped kitchen, and they even supplied toilet paper / dishwashing cubes / coffee machine filters. It's 5 minutes out of the centre of St Anton, but was much cheaper than some of the more central options. The shuttle bus stops directly out the front of these apartments which was very handy. The hosts were very friendly, and attended to any additional needs we had without a problem. We can absolutely recommend this place, and would have no hesitation in staying here again when in St Anton next time.

Reviewed By SonofBenStayed in this Hotel circa 1986 with some friends. One could not get any accommodation and ended up sleeping with a staff member on the top floor.... This time I brought 18 others, including my wife. Back in 1986 there was no pool and no Wellness Center. Seems new owners bought the hotel in 1992 and improved the hotel a lot while keeping its 'cute' atmosphere. We had dinners in a beautiful wooden room with 4 tables that accommodated all of us. Our Maître d' in the restaurant was superb, as were all other staff in the bar and front desk. The food and assortment at breakfast and the 7 course meals we had at night were all outstanding. Loved to be so close to the lifts. No need to wait on busses or having to take a taxi Wish I had time to write more. Can't wait to get back. This time I will not wait 36 years between visits!
