Nice Hotel and Restaurant with Wonderful View
Reviewed By 127reinhardvWe staxed here for four nights in the "Himmelbettzimmer" with direct access to the private garden teracce with a magnificent view over the Rhine Valley. We enyoyed the breakfast outside and the friendly service. The restaurant is rather large, but the competent staff easily managed the crowds on the weekend. We tried several of the local speicialties and had one of the best stays on our trip.

Lovely hotel in a lovely town
Reviewed By mrkjonesWe stayed for three nights in April. Our room was lovely, it was worth paying the little extar for a balcony to enjoy the sunny mornings and warm evenings. We dined in the restaurant on our first night and the food was amazing, probably the highlight of our stay here. The staff were all friendly and they offer all the services you'd expect from a nice hotel.

Paradise in Sasbachwalden
Reviewed By stclark54We stayed for three wonderful nights and loved it. Our room faced down the valley and had a great balcony. Heidi the host is as gracious and accommodating as can be. Breakfast room also has chilled wines and red wine for guests on the honor system. Breakfast was both nutritious and delicious. Perfect location near Alde Gott wine co-op, restaurants, and starting point for hikes. We plan on returning.

But we were welcomed in the nicest way possible, a fire burning in the fireplace, a warm cosy room and one of the friendliest and nicest host we have ever come across. She really made us feel welcome and at home in her lovely hotel. Breakfast was fantastic to !

Traditional hotel in Sasbachwalden
Reviewed By southerntraveller49As you probably know, this little town has a reputation of being one of the nicest in Germany, if such a thing can be measured somehow. In any case, there are traditional cute houses built in the local German style and green landscapes. Just in the road that crosses the town is located this mid-sized establishment. It has a traditional, maybe a bit old-fashioned style, but it´s very comfortable. Rooms are quite big, with very comfortable beds. The bathroom wasn´t very big, but impeccable clean. The breakfast was also ok. Everything has a familiar, traditional taste. Don´t bother about the parking issue: they have a free parking lot just in front the entrance. Prices not very cheap, but around the average in the area. Nice gardens, although the weather those days wasn´t the best to enjoy them.

Very good and reach breakfast. good place to peapole who land in baden baden and want a nice quiet place to start exploring the plack forest mational park. The owners of the place are very helpfull. Nice day trips around the area (5-30 minuts drive). Recomanded!!! .

Reviewed By Rojodall103This is the first time we have visited this part of Germany and would certainly recommend staying at the Haus Bachschwalbe. Set in a picturesque village these apartments offer a self catering experience in a true and traditional German home. The owners live in one of the apartments and are on hand to offer any assistance when needed, but don't worry you are left to your own devices. We stayed in the studio apartment which is the smallest; it is very cosy and open plan, ideal for short breaks. If however, you are intending in spending more time here, then suggest you opt for the larger apartments which offer a separate bedroom. During the summer months they offer a bread delivery service which is left by your door in a bag each morning. Their is a local supermarket in the village however, would suggest going into Achern for a big shop.
