The hotel has just opened its doors a few months ago at the beginning of 2022 and is therefore brand new! Nestled on top of Gamat Bay hill, all their villas offer panoramic views of the beautiful Gamat Bay and the impressive Mount Agung - Bali's highest volcano. All of them have a private pool from which you can watch the beautiful sunset! We have never eaten as well as at MAUA. The chef is really talented - we promise you'll enjoy the best breakfast, lunch and dinner ever... but not only! Please try their afternoon tea... We won't say anything more to save you the surprise but it's a must! To top it all off, the entire staff is incredibly welcoming, helpful and smiling. They made our stay an unforgettable one! Don’t look any further, this is truly the best hotel on the island. And if you're just planning to spend a day on the island, they also offer Day Passes to cool off by the pool and enjoy some delicious cocktails!

They also all speak great English. Rooms were spacious and each comes with a terrace. Swimming pool is large and central. Would definitely visit again :)

But a few restaurants nearby reachable by Walk in ten mins. location is ok about 30 mins from Nusa Penida Port.

Reviewed By Alexandra AThe place is a little outside so you do need a scooter if you want to be flexible. The surrounding is super quiet, nice and green. The rooms are super clean with a lot of a space and a nice bathroom with normal water pressure ;) The food is nice and cheap as well if you dont want to go outside! Everything is nice to reach, the west cost and east/ south coast. The people are super friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed the stay. Will come back in Manta season and can recommend the Singgahan bungalows.
