Reviewed By OceanloverBCBest decision ever to start our organized tour with a stay here the night before. Lovely room with a view of planes landing, yet soundproof. Dinner at the lounge was good and the room was excellent. Spacious rooms and full soaker tub for those who want it.

A great choice to stay for Vancouver visit

The hotel is well located with 15min drive to whale watching sites and 20 min to Canada Place (the heart of downtown Vancouver). We stayed 3 nights and had 2 rooms. The rooms were spacious, well furnished (loved the fast charge embedded in the night tables), cleaning staff was efficient. Bathrooms were modern and comfortable. Tried the Bruno restaurant which has a super chef and imaginative menu planner. We had a rental car which was super served with a brilliant valet service. The general manager at hotel Mr Sanjeet Sadana, personally checked on us couple of times during our stay. Really felt being very well looked after. Would definitely visit again.

Reviewed By Laura KIf you need to stay near the Vancouver airport, this is an excellent choice. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable, with fridge, microwave, and very nice bathrooms. Staff are friendly and helpful, and even the free breakfast isn't bad. I had a one-night layover in Vancouver and I was very pleasantly surprised. Also, the Chinese restaurant across the street, "Wonderful Shanghai" has delicious and authentic dim sum.

Reviewed By Deal_H0undWe've stayed at River Rock over the years (I've shared prior reviews) as it has a great location to the Richmond shops, the Night Market, and the Skytrain (it's also convenient to the airport if you had flights or people to meet from the airport). The staff are generally friendly and helpful so kudos again to them. Our most recent stay was only so-so as we were there during a busy weekend so the waits to go up/down in the elevator were very long (each tower on the casino side has 2 elevators so when it's morning and people are coming down for breakfast, checking out, etc. things get backlogged). The room we stayed in seemed to show wear - I don't know how often they get remodeled but the one we stayed in did not seem to have been updated recently. Internet itself was not reliable - I am fine with slow hotel internet since it's probably shared amongst a lot of people, but having the connection drop in and out unpredictably was annoying at best and inconvenient at worst when having a real-time audio or video call. I'd even be willing to pay for a premium internet service if it could be reliable. We booked an exec floor room hoping it would be more quiet but there was a ton of noise in the hallways and just a lot of traffic up/down throughout the weekend (at the end of the hall they had a bachelorette party, we think, where the host kept going up and down the elevators to bring people in - the 'security for having guests only' accessing the floor didn't limit traffic with this type of situation ... I realize this is nothing the hotel can do if these types of parties are permitted) and late at night people were generally making noise which could be heard in our room. On the plus side, the window sound-proofing is great as planes going right overhead and the trains coming in can't be heard - if the hallways/rooms were more quiet, it would have been a great experience. This was our first stay since Covid and the lot across the street wasn't open so all guests had to park in the West Parkade which is still free but a decent walk to keep going back and forth when you go out for short errands (e.g. take out or shopping trips). Pool was still good - lots of people but that's probably a sign that it's a good facility for guests. The buffet is closed for breakfast (so morning food options are limited to room service and maybe one of the shops inside the casino).

Reviewed By timwI9741JGI needed a room for 1 night May 28 after I started to feel unwell in my group hotel. I felt totally taken advantage of as it was late on a Saturday night we were scrambling to find accommodation for 1 night and this hotel had a room. Ordinarily the room rate would be better part of $200 but under the circumstances we anticipated that there was going to be a premium and we were prepared to pay double the payment to $400 a 100% mark up and clear profit for the hotel. Well 100% is not enough for these guys try 250% mark up for at best a 3 star hotel. This is shameful and in spite of my efforts to appeal to a sense of human decency I was met with “there is nothing I can do sir…” this is obscene over charging. I would love to hear how this price was determined and FYI I checked in at approximately 10:00 pm and left by 8:00 am now that’s close to $100 an hour. Shame on this hotel for ripping me off in such an uncaring way. My total bill from LaQuinta by Wyndham hotel was $983.04

Fun Place to Stay
Reviewed By nzkaseyOur family stayed overnight at the Accent Inn Vancouver Airport before heading to the airport the next day. The staff were all friendly, there was free popcorn in the lobby, a scrabble board on the wall to have a game. If we had stayed longer, we would have borrowed the bikes available. What a fun place. Breakfast and shuttle included. We were also able to store our luggage until taking our shuttle later in the afternoon.

Reviewed By gustafson6We stayed here prior to boarding our Disney Cruise. Fabulous service, nicest people, so friendly. Rooms were clean and spacious. Shuttle service only to and from the airport. Had to get a Lyft to the port which was the only downfall. We would definitely recommend.

The hotel is conveniently located near the airport and is close to shops and restaurants. We had a corner suite facing the airport and we enjoyed watching the planes land and take off. The staff was very friendly, and Danielle made check in a breeze. We enjoyed our stay very much and would not hesitate to book again!

Reviewed By Jim YThe hotel was busy and took a while to answer the phone for our shuttle call. However, after this, everything worked. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was good. The facility was clean and maintained.
