No vegetables, scrambled eggs was not cooked enough ☹️. ? was only white toast. They have a lot of good bread in the supermarket but in the hotels it’s always white toast bread?

We are a family business established in early 1994 because Osorno did not have an alternative to the need arose in the area such as tourist cabins, service dedicated exclusively to family groups and tourists.

Reviewed By Viajera52017If you do not pay in USD, you will be charged an additional 19% tax on the room! You can pay in USD using a credit card or using cash. If you pay with a credit card, you must have your passport ***and the slip of paper that was given to you at customs when you arrived in Chile***. If you pay in cash, make sure your bills are in mint condition. The receptionist originally told me she would not accept my payment because some of the bills had writing on them or a small black mark on the edge- she said their bank will not accept them. Eventually she did accept them, but I'm not sure if other travelers will have the same luck. Heat and hot water both functional. The evening receptionist was very nice and helpful. A nice breakfast was delivered to the room at no additional cost.

I had a wonderful night of sleep. This hotel is very simple, which is usually a plus for me. Breakfast was perfect for me: eggs cooked when I got to the table. I love the hot shower, one of the best I had in this trip. I would easily stay here again.

Reviewed By pamelaquilodranWonderful stay, all the staff was helpful and very friendly. I was travelling to a funeral and I felt everyone took care of me and made me feel comfortable. I would love to go back, in different circumstances.

Comfortable, Excellent Location
Reviewed By William TI had previously stayed at their sister hotel in Valdivia and this hotel impressed me more. Comfortable, quaint, decent value, centrally located, and efficient staff (not overwhelmingly friendly, but it was probably more of a language issue). No air conditioning in my room which could be a problem on warm nights. It could use a mini fridge addition I think too.

The staff were incredibly kind especially concerning an item of lost property which they made every possible effort to return to me. Expensive, dated hotel
Reviewed By Intrepidtraveller81Our room was huge, and clean. There were marks in the bath, but there was good water pressure. The hotel is very expensive for what it is and where it is. We only stayed here as we were stuck in Osorno for the night between bus connections, and the guide book said this was the best place to stay. Very dated, not much happening. There was a stereo in our room with a cassette player, but no CD player!!

Mapa Hostel is located in a quiet residential neighborhood close to downtown, with restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. Our property has 4 rooms with shared bathrooms: two double bed rooms; one twin room and one dorm with two comfy bunk beds. Designed with a modern/rustic style all our common spaces are large cozy and bright. We also have a deck with a Hot-tub in the patio, a large kitchen and laundry facilities. There’s heating and PVC tilt windows. And limited On-site parking. We speak 4 languages and we’ll treat you the way we want to be treated.
Amazing hostel and host
Reviewed By JeffbartlettmediaWe arrived to Osorno with our luggage missing. The hostel host was amazing, helped us figure it out, let us pay one day at a time and provided free laundry because we were without our bags. Outstanding!
