Superb mountain view, friendly staff

The hotel is sittuated 1200 meters above sea level, built in beautiful traditional Tiroler style, with a sensational view of the valley below. The rooms are clean and all have a balcony with a view of the mountains. The staff is really friendly and smiling. They even brought me a sticky roll to clean my shirt after I petted a big friendly dog in the hotel. One nice touch was that the hotel owner put a sign at the breakfast table with my name on it. You don’t see that on many places and it brings that little extra to the experience. I assume that busses come here from the valley below, but I would recommend coming by car. I paid 73 euro/78 USD for a double room with balcony. All in all this place is really good value for money, and I would definitely stay here again. TIP: Go to neighbouring town Seefeld to find restaurants and shops. It is located 4 km away, 5 minutes by car.

They have an honesty store at the basement which is stocked with several items. It is open 24 hours, you pick what you want write it down and pay when you leave The hotel is more than a 1000 meters up,it is a nice drive going to the hotels. Lots of hiking trails around. The breakfast buffet was good with lots of varity.

Wonderful walking from lovely hotel.
Reviewed By Sightseer255337Went with my sister for a walking week and had a really enjoyable stay. Comfortable bedroom with wonderful view over the valley and mountains. Loved the spa, swimming pool and other amenities. Slightly disappointed with the food, but the staff were all delightful. Complimentary bus pass a great bonus as Mosern not much to offer other than a delightful cafe and good walking centre.

Welcome to the family-run 3-star hotel in the resort of Mosern, 3,500 meters from Seefeld. Relax in the sauna, steam room, infrared sauna and solarium. You can use Wi-Fi in the whole hotel for free. All extras provided . We had fresh bread delivered each morning . The family are so very friendly and will go out of their way to make you feel welcome . Fantastic views too , great parking and the restaurant is wonderful . Gorgeous food in a relaxed, but professional atmosphere . It was always busy which proves how popular it was. We will most certainly visit again.

Reviewed By MightyMissOne of the loveliest hotels I have stayed in. We have stayed in Seefeld/Mosern many times but have just found this beautiful hotel. Small and family run. Beautifully clean with quality furnishings and newly done bathroom. Fantastic garden and amazing views. Katrin and her family were warm and welcoming with nothing too much trouble. We had our dogs with us and the location is perfect especially for that quick trip first thing in the morning. Mosern is a bit off the beaten track and very quiet (we love it) so is easier if you have a car. Don't muddle this gem with a hotel of similar name in Seefeld (I have no idea what that one is like).

Reviewed By kris881Five stars both for the holiday apartment, and the restaurant. THE APARTMENT: Comfortable, well-equipped, spacious, clean. Also had a balcony with lovely view, and a neat kitchenette. The hosts were so warm and welcoming, it was hard to leave. Staying here was a real treat. THE RESTAURANT: Delicious food in a lovely setting, with friendly and efficient service. The food is traditional Austrian dishes, but to a much higher standard than elsewhere. The fish was one of the freshest I’ve had. Everything is perfectly cooked, tasty, and served in generous portions. Do not miss out if you are in Mosern.
