Reviewed By briandI3159OUStayed here with my family because of the close location to the Parque del Cafe. Definitely a great experience. The location is large and beautiful, the staff was friendly, and the facilities were very enjoyable. The pool location has two jacuzzis and a bar from which to relax after spending a day at Parque del Cafe (15 minutes by foot) or Panaca (30 minutes by taxi). We couldn't find ubers to call in the area, but the front desk was helpful in assisting us with this. The room was very comfortable, with a tv, wifi, jacuzzi, a cute balcony facing banana trees, and nice beds. Spa services are available if requested. The area has trampolines and playground equipment for children, and friendly dogs that wander around. There is a restaurant on site, and a few in the area as well that you can order delivery from. My family enjoyed the breakfasts, but we weren't as fond of the dinners, so we went with the delivery route. If you order a vegetarian meal, make sure to emphasize it is vegetarian, because my vegetarian pasta ended up having chicken in it. There is a laundry service available, but they only wash pants and shirts. Finally, a special shout out to Marcela, who made our stay extra special. She is a sweetheart that went above and beyond with trying to help us.

Reviewed By ranger22SGWe were very excited about visiting this hotel, given the reviews. Now I wonder if most reviews are from friends of the owners. Given the very high pricing for Colombia, we imagined this was going to be a great experience. We paid an average of US$125 a night and did not get much from it. The hotel is old and basic. Rooms have no air conditioning, which you need during the day, didn't have appropriate blackouts so ithe sun was in your face at 6AM. Terrible water pressure and not even a bar of soap. Wifi only worked at the lobby for most of our stay, before miraculously working in the room on our last day. The room should have costed $40-$50, not $100+ Lunch at the restaurant was the worst meal we had in our whole trip and one of the most expensive. A lady at the Front desk was super unfriendly and snapped at me when I asked for a hammock to be placed on our balcony (all the other rooms had them) Esentially, a disaster of a stay and I recommend you avoid staying at this property.

Attractive, comfortable hotel with great staff. Wi-fi is very poor
Reviewed By grafranOur suite was spacious, with a comfortable huge bed, and very clean.There was a small fridge, but, unfortunately, no safe. Although the weather was quite warm (C 30 deg + during the day) the room was not too hot, although we did need the cooling fan at times (it was not very effective). The TV is very hard to navigate - a basic user guide would be useful. Breakfasts were good, although there was not much variety during our 5 night stay. The wi-fi is poor (for a hotel of this category). The connection was often difficult to achieve, and it cut out frequently. This was a pity, as we were not able to research a lot of our travel in the area. Staff were outstanding, both in the restaurant & reception.

Relaxing stay during our exploration of the Coffee Region
Reviewed By TokyoJimmyWe stayed at Casa Delirio for three nights while we were exploring the Coffee Region. We had a wonderful welcome with a tour of the property and coffee, and our room was prepared early so we could check in slightly ahead of time. Our room was very comfortable, with a large bed, good sized bathroom, safe, good Wi Fi and TV, which only seemed to have Colombian channels. We didn’t have a safe in our room. The room was in a colonial style from a converted outbuilding, so as a result it had old windows and doors which had some gaps so if you really don’t like insects this may be an issue. There was no air conditioning, but there was a fan, and we had no issue with the room being too hot. The walls are thin, so if you have noisy neighbours, you may be unhappy as you can hear their conversations quite easily. Most of the staff don’t speak much English but one lady who is there does. All the staff are friendly and keen to help and offer excellent service and we are especially grateful for them rescuing us with umbrellas in a sudden thunderstorm. The food is excellent and simple, made with fresh ingredients and very tasty and very reasonably priced by international standards. The only downside to the catering is that the mealtimes are limited and relatively early due to the place being small. This could potentially be inconvenient but there were also a couple of occasions, maybe with it being a holiday time over Easter, that we felt rushed to order and eat, even though we were well within the times allocated to eat, which was the only times we felt anything other than very happy during our stay. The property has very nice grounds that you can relax in and a small pool, a nice hacienda style dining room and open-air bar and with just eight rooms the place means service will be attentive and the place relatively quiet even when it is busy. There are a couple of dogs around, so if you are not happy with animals be aware of this. If you don’t have a car, the location could be an issue, it’s a ten-minute walk to the local town, but the road outside is very busy and there is no pavement. You would need a vehicle to get elsewhere. Staying onsite is a pleasure. It’s very relaxing and a really nice place to base yourself if you want to visit the area.

I want to live there. It is a real farm full of fruit trees, the sound of the birds at sunrise was incredible

Nice hotel
Reviewed By Joste SFirst of all, the hotel is in the hotel zone of a small village (Cantores) of Montenegro 5 minutes away from the Coffee Park. There's no street lighting at all, and the road after the secondary road (La tebaida - Montenegro) which is the road that takes you to the hotel hasn't been paved for years! To get there is very disappointing, and frustrating. Thank God Gmaps exists if you're using roaming and have data service in the country. Roaming is included (free) for T-Mobile costumers. Second, the hotel is very clean. The cleaning service is awesome. The staff is very kind and friendly, the receptionist staff is AWESOME specially Luz Graciela. The chef was good. Third, rooms are missing refrigerators, and phones. There's no way to communicate with other rooms or staff, you must walk and look for someone if you need help. Bottle of water should be provided inside the rooms at least one per person daily during the stay. Mattress SUCKS, I woke up in the middle of the night with a back pain. I asked my fellow travelers about their sleep and it was the same answer. Reading through the reviews, people are complaining about their mattress since 2018!! To sum up, it's a good hotel. Owners should improve in little details in order to have a better stay.

Reviewed By ThomasAbendrothThis finca is situated close to the town of montenegro which is a good spot to travel to Parque de Café, Panaca and Salento (however with a car). Its rooms are spacious and clean and have a distinct touch (a Finca). We used its swimming pool as well as the Jacuzi and had a room with a shared bathroom. We can recommend the hotel due to the hospitalitiy of its owners. Melanie and David were super hospitable and the value for money is impeccable. Note: it is in a rural area, hence some bugs are flying around at night, but as they say in Panaca: "Sin campo no hay ciudad"
