Unforgettable stay
Reviewed By bon-voyage-2009We were looking for a place to overnight between Merzouga and Fez. We came across Kasbah Izoran - undoubtedly one of our most memorable stays in Morocco. Mustapha was a most hospitable host welcoming us into his location as one would welcome someone into your home. Indeed it is also his home. Rooms were unique in decor - comfortable. Even though we descended on him out of the blue late in the day he organized supper for us - salads omlette bread tea - all wonderful. Dont miss opportunity to go for a walk arround the kasbah and to go into the river and canyon - see local villagers working their fields. Next time I would stay more thsn one night.

Reviewed By embrue_menAs we were stopping over on our way to Merzouga, our expectations were relatively simple. The service was excellent, from arrival and dinner to a washed car in the morning. The dinner was delicious, rich, not to say too much for two grown men. We had a similar experience at breakfast, which was also very tasty. Despite the shortness of our stay, a short walk through the village was fascinating and brought us a little closer to the life of the people here. Thank you so much for this unique accommodation!

Not meeting my hygiene standards
Reviewed By CamilleKamsThe place is very traditional and it’s a great building. There is car park, but not secure. I will not return as the cleanliness was lacking, in my opinion. You will see hair on a photo, but I will spare the photos of small hair similar to... pubes. The state of the towels was horrendous - even budget hotels can do better. I know the country cannot be compared to the U.K. or Europe in general, but it just didn’t feel right. The room was spacious though, but I was glad to only be staying for one night. Breakfast was extremely poor for me, it might suit others.

Reviewed By 326karelhVery nice little hostel, great cat called snow and awesome owner. Rooms and bathrooms were clean, plenty of blankets to keep warm, cozy living room, and gorgeous sunny roof terras where breakfast is served. Overall great place for a great price, would recommend!

In the midst of Midelt
Reviewed By allarivaSimple hotel in downtown Midelt. Clean rooms, some of them arranged around common spaces, without windows to the exterior. Parking available in front of the hotel but restricted. Coffee shop on first floor is hangout visited by locals. Excellent and abundant Moroccan style breakfast with freshly made msemen, local honey etc. Absolutely ok for a one night stop.

Reviewed By Discover65572957977This hotel was great. Owner Idris very helpful. Kept his promises, put the heating on in the evening. Good hot shower. Gave us a good deal. Was open early in the morning so we could leave early, even gave us breakfast at 7.00am. yes beds are hard put a blanket under the sheet! We stayed two days. The restaurant is finished and they serve very good food at a reasonable price. The kitchen staff are very good. I recommend this hotel in Midelt if you don't want to pay ridiculous prices.

Comfortable faded glory
Reviewed By TinusvrielUpon arriving we were afraid this site might’ve been closed due to its apparent faded glory, but once we checked in, got installed in our (simple but clean) room and decided to have dinner here, we were positively surprised. Staff are friendly (though shyish) and the food is hearty. We ended up having dinner here both nights and weren’t disappointed! Wouldn’t recommend staying here if you don’t have a car, but otherwise very well located I between several optional activities around Midelt.
