Reviewed By betty1232022We stayed at this Hotel for one night. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast included with your stay was great. A very good selection, we were pleasantly surprised because we thought it would be a coffee, muffin and maybe some fruit, but we were wrong. We had a great breakfast with waffles, scrambled eggs and the works. The swimming pool and hot tub were clean and we enjoyed both.

Good coffee, fridge and microwave, convenient parking, convenient location and last but not least there is someone name Curby who is handman central. So awesome it took him no time at all to fix a tv issue and also to help me get a stuck key out of my roof rack - and it’s COLD lol. He did it all with a smile, professional and kind. I’ll never pass through Merritt and stay anywhere else. I vouch.

I told the manager upon check-out that I was making the Ramada my go-to hotel in Merritt / the Nicola Valley. It's a family run hotel and the pride in the hotel is obvious.

Amenities include free hot breakfast with fresh waffles, swimming poool and hot tub as well as free access to a fitness center. Close proximity to Kamloops and Kelowna.

Reviewed By LupinelakeChecked out the Empty Keg Brew Hpuse in Merritt for the first time. Drinks and food are ordered at the counter where menu and beverage choices are displayed. Too many choices for a flight of 5. Husband ordered his fav before I had a chance to put in my request as we were sharing a flight, good thing he has good taste in some beers. We ordered hot pretzels that came with dips and a charcuterie board. Hot pretzels tasty, 3 of them. Charcuterie board eye appealing, put together nicely and had many different items, salami, cheeses, nuts, olives, pickled vegetables and several varieties of crackers. Beers tasty. Lots of games in a bookcase that you could bring to your table to play. There is a table set up for poker, cards and poker chips. Overall, great place to hang out. Would definitely go back for a visit.

Reviewed By Simone BThe GM, Sue, is so helpful and friendly. A clean, quiet pet friendly stay. The large central grassy area is great for throwing the ball after being cooped up in the car. My dog loved it. The beds are comfortable and though not a glam decor, we had every facility needed to enjoy a great night's stay at a very reasonable price.

Reviewed By 537daleqWe just stayed there (Feb28/29) Nothing fancy, decent. The good: -Room was clean -Relatively Soundproof considering how. Lose you are to the road The bad: -Tv has two remotes and was not set to be able to watch without me spending 15 minutes pushing buttons.I then went to the office and asked the attendant to come see if he could get it to work. He speaks minimal English, so after another 15 of him trying and me trying to communicate, I gave up and said I’d figure it out myself. Eventually I managed to get just ONE Channel to work. -The toilet kept running if I didn’t wiggle the handle the right way -the bathroom is really small, the door just barely clears the toilet so you almost have to climb into the shower and then close the door

Reviewed By IneedacoffeenowRoom was musty, bed was hard. The worst part? In the middle of a pandemic, when staff is NOT SUPPOSED to enter the rooms, they did anyways, completely IGNORING the DO NOT DISTURB signs! When asked about it, front desk had nothing to say about it, and shrugged her shoulders. None of us were happy about it. Stay clear of this rat hole.

Last Minute stay, stay AWAY
Reviewed By Lorrie GHad to stay the night somewhere, should’ve slept in our SUV. This place should be demolished and condemned. Silverfish coming out of bathtub and sink drains, towels were dark colour so assumed never bleached, dirt on lino floors, just an absolute dump. Feel the springs through the bed top, tables dirty, coffee pot didn’t work. Stay away and go anywhere else!!
