Great selection. Very clean room. Lovely staff.Very courteous and helpful if you need advice. Short,pleasant walk to Lake Achensee for the boats etc.. I love Austria and have been many times to many lakes. I am never dissapointed. Lovely lake.lovely people. Lake Achensee is a gem. Enjoy.

Reviewed By Ieva PWe planned to stay there 1 week with two small kids (2 and 4). As a result we stayed just half of the planned time as we were asked to leave hotel by the owner because we complained about kids club. And we complained about kids club because they were not changing pamper often enough, the babies bottom was red, and the personnel put it on diarrhea what the baby did not have in fact. To prove it we even went to local village doctor (pediatr) who checked the baby and said that there is no sign of diarrhea and baby is completely ok. We showed the doctor's paper to the hotel owner afterwards and asked to give money back for that day when we could not use kids club and therefore could not go ski (as it was winter and our ski holiday with that hotel) and do nothing that day. He refused and said if we do not like it we have to leave the hotel, which we did. Not even to mention that day before they also called us from kids club already after couple of hours and told us to take back our kids because of apparently they cried.

Reviewed By HWTrWe spent one night here before travelling on to Italy. The room was simply wonderful. We had 2 balconies and a view of the Achensee. It was situated in the external building of the hotel with it's own entrance. Dinner and breakfast were included and were very good. The staff is wonderful and I'd like to thank Herr Jaud especially. We had a covid related question and upon arrival he had made sure that was taken care of without us really expecting it. It made for a very relaxed stay and I can only highly recommend this hotel.

Reviewed By Ander12The entire hotel had an exceptional make over and the hand of a highly talented interior designer was certainly noticeable. The room was very clean with a south facing balcony and amazing views onto the mountains. The room was equipped with an infrared cabin, a water fountain and a coffeemaker. Breakfast was luxurious and delicious and the staff was well trained and very service orientated. We had a most pleasant stay in this hotel and would highly recommend it.

3 wonderful days at this top hotel
Reviewed By 349valeriesI can definately recommend this hotel. We were welcomed at the reception by a very friendly helpful lady who turned out to be one of the owners. The mother works the desk, the daughter runs the restaurant and the son-in-law is the wine expert. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, gave us tips and even lent us their walking sticks which turned out to be more than necessary on our beautiful walks on the mountains. The rooms are large, we had room 311 at the back which was very quiet. We were provided with bathrobes and slippers for the spar area which is very relaxing after our long walks. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and well looked after. The breakfast and evening meal were excellent and all made with regional products. There's a spacious garage underneath where you can rent a space for 5€ a day. We didn't move the car until we left and were able to walk to the lake, the village and the cable car. We will be back!

Pleasant atmosphere, attentive service, well equipped rooms, nice wellness area, traditional lobby bar...and excellent food.., for breakfast and for dinner with a daily 4 course menu, for main course you can select from three choices...and on Wednesday there is a 5 course gala menu. Reviewed By Renato WWir hatten unser Zimmer in der Alpenrose, profitierten aber von der Möglichkeit, unser Nachtessen, gegen einen Aufpreis von Euro 12.- pro Person im Cocoon einzunehmen. Dieser Entscheid hat sich ausbezahlt. Wunderschöne Stube, sehr gute Bedienung und ein qualitativ hochstehendes Essen. Auch optisch wussten die Gänge zu gefallen. Die Mitarbeiter/in waren aufmerksam und professionell. An einem Abend wurden wir während des Essens von einer Harfenspielerin unterhalten. Einfach mit Stil. Natürlich liessen wir uns auch eine der 27 modernen Suiten zeigen. Übrigens, alle sind mit einer privaten Sauna ausgestattet. Ist das die Zukunft der neuen Wellness Generation. Bestimmt werden wir uns irgendwann ein paar Tage Traumurlaub in der Cocoon Alpine Boutique Lodge gönnen.
