Amazing hotel, luxury at a modest price
Reviewed By karmacolonicBeautiful hotel and very friendly, helpful staff. I was there for a local conference, and the accomodations were superb. Very spacious and clean rooms, nice facilities, extensive breakfast buffet. I only wish I had been able to stay longer to relax and enjoy all that the hotel has to offer.

Reviewed By maria09990Staff was so welcoming and kind. Great rooms and beautiful decor. The food was great, many options for breakfast in the buffet. Cozy and inviting atmosphere. Great views of the beautiful city. The night club and pool were equally amazing. Had so much fun staying here.Was extremely happy with my stay overall and I will be definitely coming back once this pandemic is over.

Reviewed By zenchidoMy family and I stayed at the Sen Trang hotel because it was highly recommended by a few of my friends. For a reasonably low price, we couldn't believe how clean and spacious our rooms were. What I likes the most was there variety of western food, which was hard to find in that city of Vietnam. The spaghetti was awesome. The coffee was very unique and specially designed by the hotel's owner. Definitely a great place to stay while you are in Lao Cai, if you want to experience friendly and family type service. I find this great of service rare these days.

The staff were rude, cabins and toilets so dirty and they refused to provide the free beer and snacks that were advertised on the website and even on our ticket! Scam business, stear clear!!

Reviewed By UV1951We arrived very late to this hotel to stay one night as a group tour. Hospitality was good, smiley even the late hour. Room was ready, luggage were brought to our room withing 5 minutes. Breakfast was fair - not so good. Room was comfortable to sleep.

I have been coming here since October 2017, and I do my best to visit this Casino mostly for the warm feelings I get. Everyone treats you like family and asks you how are things going. If you are looking for a cozy and friendly place to enjoy yourself, while you make money, Aristo Casino is definitely the place to hang out. Yes, most of the customers are Chinese, but they are also very friendly to me. Also it is very close to Sapa, if you wanted to take a break and spend some of your winnings. Finally, I would like to mention that most of the staff are Vietnamese and some from Malaysia. They can speak Chinese and enough English to make me feel at home. The managers all speak English well. The staff are not fluent in English, but speak enough to help me with whatever I need. All I can say is now in 2018, this is my favorite Casino in all of Asia.

"An unpleasant place, a never come back hotel"
Reviewed By thu12456I was on a private tour with my extended family traveling from Ha Noi to Sapa. On our return trip to Hanoi, we stayed 1 night at Lao Cai Star, a 3 star hotel. The room though generously large but was so disgusting, so stinky, full of cigarette smoke odor. The furniture and the floor were spotted with cigarette burn. There was dust on the coffee table. Breakfast was included in the package but there were not that many selections to ingest in the early morning. The staff was very well-mannered. The hotel location is about 10-15 minutes driving to the border of Viet Nam and China. Since it was only a 1 night layover in Lao Cai, we did not complain about the hygiene and the overall cleanliness condition to the management but we were very displeased and mentioned it to our tour guide. He told us that there are not many decent hotels in Lao Cai. I would rate it 1 star instead of 3 stars as claimed and never come back again.

The meals were excellent and perfect for anyone needing nutrition for long hikes. The rooms are beautiful, exactly what I hoped for. I can't imagine anyone not enjoying their stay here
