Terrible - Serafina Restaurant Kaya Palazzo
Reviewed By 595OmersOur reservation was for a party of four at the Serafina restaurant, Kaya Palazzo Kyrenia. Overall, what an extremely disappointing evening. I would not recommend to anyone. The service was agonisingly slow and the food was substandard. The room was also filled with thick clouds of cigarette smoke. We had ordered 4 starters, of which only 3 were delivered. It eventually arrived after we had all finished our food. And this was only because we kept asking where it was. The calamari starter was over cooked, dry and chewy and the goats cheese salad was served with an overkill of tough, stringy spinach leaves. It was also very difficult to get a waiter’s attention to ask for some water. Another wait for the main courses where unfortunately one dish delivered was not what we had ordered, so a further wait for the correct dish to arrive. Taste wise my linguini was bland, but the main problem was that the food was cold. The waiter offered to reheat it but I declined - not knowing if the food would ever come back in time. The saving grace for this meal was the dessert. The tiramisu and crème brûlée tasted fine. Apparently they were understaffed this evening which would explain the slow service, but it does not excuse the tasteless and substandard food that leaves their kitchen, for which they are charging a premium price for.

Fab & friendly hotel
Reviewed By Lisa BWe have stayed at the Pia Bella many times , but this year decided to stay at the Grand Pasha over the road . After one day we moved hotels as they had very noisy building works going on , ran out of Efes beer & was not a very friendly hotel . We then relocated to the Pia Bella a warm and friendly hotel . We were given a very nice room overlooking the smaller pool . The staff were as friendly as ever especially Katerina , Ahmed & Osman who always went the extra mile to look after you . The a la carte menu at lunchtime was very nice with lots of choice , the evening buffet was a bit hit & miss. Think the hotel needs some refurbishing on the whole , but we love it here and will continue to stay here .

Worst experience for an all inclusive hotel
Reviewed By yesimeralpWe were here for a congress meeting, but had some time for leisure as well. The rooms were clean and our stay was whole board. There was water, coffee or tea in the room when we first came, but they were not supplied daily. The ac was not working and I had a terrible time at night fighting with the mosquitoes, since I had to keep the balcony door open because of the heat. The service was not good although the hotel was not full. Most of the personnel was not trained adequately and the service was poor. The food was mediocre and drinks very low quality. What was disturbing most was that the sales department wanted to know who I was and where I came from just to give me information about the current price for one room. I never liked all inclusive resorts, but this hotel was the worst experience ever.

The park and pool are very scenic too! The sea green view from room lobby was mesmerising. Very relaxing holidays without any stress!! Rooms are very spacious and ideal for young families. Best part was ultra inclusive buffets which served many different delicacies from around the globe. There was always something for everyone! Hotel staff was one of best we came across. Serpil Sertuk -guest relation manager ensured our comfort everyday. Hotel reception staff Simmi and others were very welcoming and helpful. Restaurant staff was amazing especially Restaurant floor manager Ugur Can & his team of young staff members like Togyul and Chefs like EhtiSham & others preparing fresh food. In Evenings we had special Cinnamon cafe which served delicious Turkish tea, hot chocolates and coffee with cookies and cakes! Merita club was good for our kids and they had a great time in club and in the animal farm. Fresh food was being served everyday and we really enjoyed fresh pizzas, garlic breads, Kebabs, vast variety of deserts & above all fresh Bakhlava every day. The housekeeping staff changed sheets and cleaned our room regularly and minibar guy always remembered to top up our minibar with juices, water and beer. We used Spa services which were very good in quality and priced very reasonable. Overall we Loved staying there as all staff made our stay very pleasurable. Even security at door used to help us every time with our luggage and strollers. Casino was really good experience! Thankyou Merit Park team!! Beautiful Boutique Hotel & Location

The rooms are done in the old rustic charm but the bathroom is very modern, with a great shower. Staff are very attentive, Mohamed made sure we were allocated a room with a view, even though we had booked last minute. Coffee shop within the hotel does lovely cakes. Breakfast was good too. Less than 10 minute drive to the harbour area. Parking is available at the hotel. We tried the hotel restaurant, the staff were very nice but we weren't too impressed with our main courses. I had the Fish which was grilled too much, so it was dry. My husband had the steak, it was cooked right but not the best meat. We would dine again, as we had mussels as a starter between us, which was lovely but for a main course we'll try the kebabs instead, as this was a firm fabourite with other local diners.

The custom technique is good. The sea is very nice. Oscar Otel çok özel ve harika çalışanlar var, özellikle Ensar, Gölçat ve Abbas. Özel teknik iyidir. Deniz çok güzel.

Reviewed By JNB2011Great hotel, one of the best we 've stayed at. Very nice and spacious rooms, with big comfortable bed and sofa. The whole place was spotless. We really liked their bath and spacious shower! Their breakfast and dinner was great also! We especially liked that their chef prepared for us many traditional turkish specialities and they were different every day! Their service was great also. Moreover, it is just two minutes walking distance from Kyrenia old port.

Disappointed
Reviewed By 174georgeandeouBeautiful outside and inside but poor overall. Reception staff was moody only the Ukrainian guy at the bar was friendly. The pool very small and deep not suitable for kids and no sunbeds because the area is too small, unless you ask for them. The sunbeds are not adjustable so they become so uncomfortable. The room is cute but no warm water unless you switch on the heater for at least 30 min. The bathroom smells and the noise of the streets horrible we couldn't sleep, plus there is a mosque near by so they woke us up at 5 o'clock in the morning. Also the minibar was not working and also full of mosquitoes in the room. Definitely not recommend this hotel.
