Reviewed By markwI201QXMy wife and I stayed at Gillham Vineyard hotel and were blown away. From the moment we arrived the service was exceptional and the way the hotel has been designed is beautiful. The rose suites, which over look the vineyard and the Mediterranean Sea are fantastic and very spacious. All meals were incredible, the lunch in particular at the wine bar. 10/10 rating a must stay when visiting North Cyprus.

Beautiful Boutique Hotel & Location
Reviewed By tazhughes1971A fabulous boutique hotel, rooms are lovely, clean & the bed very comfortable. The rooms are done in the old rustic charm but the bathroom is very modern, with a great shower. Staff are very attentive, Mohamed made sure we were allocated a room with a view, even though we had booked last minute. Coffee shop within the hotel does lovely cakes. Breakfast was good too. Less than 10 minute drive to the harbour area. Parking is available at the hotel. We tried the hotel restaurant, the staff were very nice but we weren't too impressed with our main courses. I had the Fish which was grilled too much, so it was dry. My husband had the steak, it was cooked right but not the best meat. We would dine again, as we had mussels as a starter between us, which was lovely but for a main course we'll try the kebabs instead, as this was a firm fabourite with other local diners.

Sun Rays Hotel is a family owned hotel located 2.5 km to the east of Kyrenia City in Karakum Village, just a few minutes from the center (old harbor) of Kyrenia. The village is surrounded by a beautiful sandy beach(5 minute walk), universities, restaurants and several entertainment places. Away from noise, well suited for those seeking a quiet environment with friendly and quality service. With only 15 rooms and a restaurant with home made foods, a spectacular setting, Sun Rays is a place guests come back to year after year.

Reviewed By Passport44154922537When we arrived the owner offered us drinks the food was amazing we stayed one night we were supposed to stay 10 nights but the children wanted a place with a pool. We all regret not staying there. Fully recommend Amazing service. The owner was really kind and understanding

Reviewed By MatDuboisI absolutely enjoyed my long stay of almost 3 weeks. Husband & wife owners were attentive and polite. The great thing was they were at the Hotel every day. They were approachable always. The Foyer and exterior pool area was excellent. I met with family & friends in the beautiful grand foyer & pool area on numerous occasions. Everyone commented how much they enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. Excellent convenience to restaurants, shops & a short ride to Kyrenia Harbour. A short walk to the Sea. Beautiful water views from the upper levels. I would strongly recommend any length of stay in the main Hotel or in the Family Villas.

Great View but the Noisiest Room I've Ever Had

In your room, you will hear every note of live music from the rooftop bar as well as the electric guitar and musician from the street below. On a Saturday night, this went on until about 1:30 a.m. We politely explained to the hotel that we were cutting our visit short, but they refused any refund at all (and they were nowhere near full so we hadn't kept them from booking someone else). Only stay here if you are a night owl and VERY loud music doesn't bother you.

A hidden gem in the hills

They have improved the rooms and the pool bar is bigger, with new seating. Lots of new waiters, which was to be expected, as many of the Turkish staff had left and gone home due to covid. The new staff are learning, so give them a break, as they will be fine for the new season in 2022. All in all a great little hideaway with great food and staff. One word of warning, however, if you have mobility problems then this hotel is not for you as it's built on the side of a mountain and there are steep paths. But it's still the best hotel if you want to recharge your batteries and relax

Reviewed By DebraG512Rose gardens holiday village, we’ll where do I start. From arriving to leaving we were treat like family. Nothing is too much for any of the staff. The whole complex runs like clockwork. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. The management needs a special mention for the amazing customer service. We honestly felt like family and will keep in touch until our return which will be soon. Kubilay, Ayse, Mert, Fiscal and the rest of the crew made our stay perfect. Food was amazing and if it’s not on the menu just ask and they will make it, we found ourselves eating at Rose Gardens every day as food was so nice. Hotel room was absolutely gorgeous, boutique style wow it was amazing. Beds made off marvellous cleaner she was lovely. Can’t wait to go back we met some wonderful friends and made memories to last forever. Thanks again for a fabulous holday.

Reviewed By 374mickgCame here today with friends. First time in 2 years because of getting to the Island due to lockdown. This place is 20 out of 5. More expensive than other places but the quality is fantastic. You won't get a better meal. I had pre ordered the beef for Sunday lunch but commented that I wished I had ordered lamb shank after seeing it. Next minute, a lamb shank comes out. I don't think, even in the UK, that I've had a shank as good as the one I had today. The staff were attentive and polite, the background singer was excellent and the ambience of the place really made the day. If you're in TRNC and don't come here you're missing a real treat. Can't wait to go back.

Reviewed By tinkerbell1607the first room they gave us was awful it was at the back of the hotel in a bungalow and the balcony was full of bird muck and overlooked a empty swimming pool with stagnant water in it, the breakfast was extremely poor supposed to be a buffet but this was not, a plate of salad cold processed meat and dried up cheese and we were offered an omelette that was the choice no orange juice, no toast and had to make our coffee from a kettle they brought in. the second day after complaining we got a bowl of undercooked chips and a boiled egg!! very disappointing to say the least oh and to top it off was woken at 4.30am but a very noisy cockerel.
