Ring Garage Apartament

Great Visit - No Fuss.

Reviewed By DaneCharles

Our small group had a great stay in September/October 2019 across 2 rooms. The amenities were perfect for what we wanted. It was modern, everything worked and there was little fuss. There is a nice outdoor area for sitting in the afternoons which we would have enjoyed more if it was not raining. We will visit again.

Best stay in DE in 7 years!

Reviewed By MichaelW4946

Christa is the landlord, and she really is a sweetheart. The apartment is beautiful, wonderfully furnished, and CLEAN. Kelberg is about 8 minutes away from the Nurburgring, so that's nice. A few restaurants within walking distance. Great deal all around, by far the best I've found in my 7 years of living here.

Stayed for 4 nights while visiting/ driving the Nurburgring. Hotel is set in a lovely location and there are many place to sit outside and enjoy the sun/view. Perfect place away from the hustle and bustle of the track. Rooms are clean and spacious and breakfast is basic but adequate. I will be back.

Traveled there with three other friends. Me and one friend booked a double bedroom appartment with bathroom. We were given a one bedroom room with a bathroom outside the room! Besides this there were unpleasant odors, and useless WiFi.

persone gentili e appartamenti ottimi.

3H Hotels

Could be excellent!

Reviewed By Rita S

The property looks completely new, can smell the plaster and paint when you enter the room, the concept is more like staying in an air B&B. Although there is a restaurant below the property they are not owned by the same people. When we arrived the hotel was locked and the the guy in the bar told us that we had to phone the hotel number and they would come and open up for us. We had not been told this when we booked but no big deal. A guy came round in about 5 mins and let us in, gave us our key etc. The rooms are really nice but a lot of things were missing, like they ran out of money because of Covid and had not finished off the rooms. So, no TV, (decent wi-if otherwise could be a long evening)!!!nowhere to put a suitcase (no stand), no table area, just 2 open bedside units bed and 2 chairs, no tissues, no glasses, no hair dryer, no large bin in the main room. The bathroom is lovely but had a lot of trouble getting the water temperature correct in the shower either freezing cold or scolding hot so be careful and the sink tap had the cold and hot water feeds going to the wrong side, i.e blue was cold and red was hot, so again be very careful (we were in room 107). The only window in the room had a very thin blind in front so it lets a lot of light into the room, we like this but for someone who likes the room to be pitch black it would be a problem. There is no air conditioning but can open a window, no elevator if you have problems with stairs. Parking is in the public parking area in front of the hotel/restaurant across the street, no actual parking on site. The guy who checked us in was kind enough to allow us to park the car down the side of the property but only because it was Saturday/Sunday, normally the area had to be kept clear for deliveries to the pub/restaurant. Loo was a bit “ minging” to say the least, like it had been used by builders and not cleaned afterwards, say no more!!!!! But pretty bad. Loo seat was not fixed and you had to be really careful when you sat on it! Bed was very firm, really needs a topper pad to have a good nights sleep. The restaurant next door, the pub Zum Dubbes was great. You can either eat in the pub or the restaurant which was nicely done, the food was typical german fare and really nicely presented and very tasty. I had the saubraten which was lovely and hubby had the pork medallions in a pepper sauce and had it with the spaetzle. They only had one dessert on the menu which was creme brûlée and that was also lovely to finish the meal. The wines were also very nice. The server was English and was so lovely. Everyone here was very helpful and super friendly. The meal and breakfast can be organise through the hotel or you can pay separately. Breakfast is at a bakery across the street. Suggest you just pay directly for this, the hotel has a set cheese, ham and bread platter set up with them for I think 12 euros but better to pay for what you want, they do large omelettes or you can have cheese and ham sandwich or just a pastry, you can dine inside or outside. I am giving the hotel 2 only because although every thing done to a high standard the owners really need to keep on eye on things, I know things have been difficult with Covid but this was a lovely place that has been neglected from the offset. Pull your socks up, you have a gem of a place here but need to keep your eye on the ball, no excuse for dirty toilets!
