Modernistic and very clean hotel
Reviewed By Dennis BOne nite stay only...everything looked new. room was very nice and bath very good (excellent hot water). Breakfast was sufficient and front desk very helpful. Elevators are somewhat of a rarity there but Avanty had a supurb one.

Reviewed By rbrow018It is a basic hotel that is a little more expensive than others in the area ($16 USD per night). However, its location and ability to take credit card as payment are worth the extra few dollars. It is literally 100 feet from the bus terminal. The hotel's purpose is to provide a resting place to those crossing over the border. I highly recommend staying here right before you cross over into Ecuador. If you are coming into Colombia, it is better to take the 3 hour bus ride to Pasto. Value For Money: 4/5 Security: 4/5 Location: 5/5 Facilities: 3/5 Staff: 3/5 Cleanliness: 4/5

Reviewed By ruidavidpEs un hotel sencillo, sin mayores lujos pero acogedor, sus dueños son muy amables. Hace frio pero te dan buenas cobijas por lo que duermes calientito, el agua caliente funciona, las camas son comodas. Cuenta con parqueadero para el auto a media cuadra.

Reviewed By Rebek MIpiales is a place that belongs to Colombia. I went when I was 17 years old now I'm 22 years old. It's been 5 years since I traveled to Ipiales. Ipiales it is very cold, in the night it is very dangerous, because there is not much security. The hotels are very cheap and the service is very good people are friendly and kind, clothes are cheap and very nice, the food is bad, the rice is tasteless, the chicken is bad and the soda tastes weird, there are guides that take you to know tuistic places. I do not like Ipiales, the only thing I liked was the clothes. If you visit this place, be careful all the time

Good place for a night or two

It has a good location, helpful staff, good shower (have to run the water a little to get it hot!) and a good wifi signal. The price was good for this quality. A comfortable enough hotel (you don’t have too many places to choose from!) with a good simple breakfast. The town is not very safe, so ask the hotel staff to call a taxi for you.

Great for a quick stop in Ipiales

It does get cold at night and they have plenty of warm blankets on the beds. The showers are hot, which was also very welcomed. The owner was very friendly and helped out with small details. I would recommend it for a quick stay in Ipiales.

Reviewed By donkey257That hotel gathers more to overlanders as it's a bit out of town.(30minutes walks) Room very clean, comfy bed. My room was near the main road so i could hear cars and trucks. Bathroom window stays open for venting but let noise in aswell. Good breakfast Secured parking

Excelente señal de internet
Reviewed By alejandragueva1508Es el mejor hotel cerca del centro de Ipiales que he ido, sus habitaciones son bastantes amplias, limpias y cómodas, además que el hotel posee un gran parqueadero. Lo que más me gustó del hotel es su buena señal de internet ya que en mis experiencias pasadas en otros hoteles de Ipiales la conexión a internet era bastante mala y lenta, en cambio este hotel tenía su propio intensificador de señal en cada piso. Tiene un precio bastante cómodo y además la estadía incluye el desayuno, sin embargo el desayuno no estaba tan bueno , sobre todo el jugo ya que sabía a agua, pero de ahí el servicio y las habitaciones fueron excelentes.
