Reviewed By Molen61Recently we stayed one night at the Victoria. A very quite place, almost alone in the woods. The room is o.k., although the furniture may be a little oldish. Space enough and clean as well. COVID is handled great, we enjoyed a good diner at our room, the breakfast was o.k. and due to the quantity became lunch as well!

Food is good, but lacks overall picture and service lacks beer knowledge
Reviewed By gersonv180We only had lunch here! This place is really well set along a bit of a busy road, but with a nice terrace and friendly service. The food did tast very well and we enjoyed our beer and all. Two items need to be posted here though. Two items that might need some improvement. First of all, the outside lights were on during a sunny day??? Secondly, the lunch plate with all kind of things, like soup, kroket en breads did not have a red line. I ate four different meals, instead of co-inciding coktail of flavours. A bit weird combinations.. Also the service did not know anything of beer. We asked for a light beer, but the recommendations were heavy beers often dark. We asked two different waiteresses but both went into the very different direction with their idea of light. Maybe a drinks course would be good? The Corona measures were very well taken care of: a special table was set for putting the orders on. Top!

Good hotel at the entrance of the National Park Hoge Veluwe
Reviewed By Brt162We had a deluxe room at the ground floor. The room was big, clean and with a lot of privacy. Are dog was also welcome. The staff was friendly and the breakfast good. The hotel is in walking distance from the Hoenderloo entrance of the National Park Hoge Veluwe and within a 2 minute walk you can get a free bike from the National Park. You can park your car for free in front of the hotel.

Koud zwembad!
Reviewed By Susanne422Op zich een prima camping met wat vermaak, maar wat wel vermeld moet worden is dat het zwembad geen warm zwembad is. Op de site staat dat het verwarmd is, maar dat blijkt met zonnecollectoren te zijn. Daarmee kun je onder gunstige omstandigheden (veel zon) het water een paar graden omhoog krijgen. Toen wij er waren, was er niet heel veel zon en was het dus gewoon koud. Qua recreatieteam worden er wel dingen georganiseerd, maar hierbij geldt wel dat de dingen die van te voren gereserveerd moeten worden, al snel vol zitten. Bij aankomst op het park zat alles al helemaal vol (voordat je aankomt reserveren is dus een goede tip!). Receptie is vriendelijk en behulpzaam en zijn folders aanwezig van activiteiten in de buurt. De omgeving is erg mooi. Als je de camping af loopt, ben je meteen in de natuur. Aan de overkant van de ingang is vooral een mooi gebied met wandelknooppunten en verschillende routes. Ook een wildscherm waar we wilde zwijnen zagen. Aan de andere kant het park aflopen, kom je ook in een bosgebied, dit wordt veel gebruikt voor het uitlaten voor honden. Helaas geen inleveren van plastic mogelijk, dus plastic afval scheiden kan hier niet.

Zelfs mijn vader die niks met dieren heeft en zelfs allergisch is vond het geweldig en heeft nergens last van gehad. de ontvangst was zeer gastvrij. enige wat je mist in koudere dagen en met regen is een afgescheiden hoek op de kamer waar je als volwassenen kan zitten als de kids in bed liggen. nou hadden wij het geluk dat we 2 kamers kregen aangeboden omdat er een groep had afgezegd dus konden op de ene kamer zitten terwijl de kids in de kamer ernaast sliepen. ook af en toe het gestommel/geblaas van de paarden is leuk te horen, dit vonden wij allemaal niet storend en in de nacht kan je goed doorslapen je hoort het bijna niet. het ontbijt was buiten verwachting goed en zeer uitgebreid. niks ander dan lof over deze accommodatie.
