Room #301 is large enough to support suitcases with full ski-gears. Fantastic kitchen run by an outstanding chef of modern cuisine mixed with local flairs. Highly recommend it!

Exceptional wine list, & wine by the glass also great value for money, good quality. Hotel arranged transfers for us to/from Salzburg airport (50 mins). Really good kids club which gave us time together as a couple. Fantastic skiing. Lovely heated outdoor pool and great fitness room. We will return again. Thank you!

The sunny terrace is well placed and equipped with comfortable chairs and lounge sets. Very friendly staff. Recommended for lunch and diner. Langlauf loipes at the doorstep and the shuttle bus from Filzmoos stops in front of the Neubergerhof

But since it is cheaper than comparable hotels in the area and we do not have the specific must have request for ultramodern facilities and equipment, we award 5 points. Our evaluation concerns the very good and extensive breakfast, our 3 bed room, the friendliness of the service, the swimming pool and sauna. Other things we could not evaluate because we did not try them. Yes, and it is not self-evident in Central Europe that you can get tap water for free. Small tip: in front of the hotel is a well, there you can always fill up your bottles for e.g. the day trips or for other things. ?

Reviewed By mfj369An excellent centre for our family skiing holiday. Superb food and a great spa with saunas and swimming pool. Situated above the main town but with regular bus connections to the various pistes during the day, or by a short walk to the centre it has fantastic views along the valley. Very clean and with helpful staff providing good service at breakfast and the four course dinner. The bar and lounge was lively in the evening and it also has a games room with ping-pong and fussball. Would highly recommend.

Good location for skiers but a 'youth hostel' atmosphere
Reviewed By Linda GThe village of Filzmoos is extremely well located for skiers with many ski-lifts up to various mountains. There are also plenty of walks for summer visitors. The hotel is there to provide for them, offering clean and practical accommodation. However the service was variable (one receptionist was helpful, the other distinctly unfriendly) and the service ethos was slightly over-controlling and bossy. The breakfast was of poor quality for a four star hotel. Rooms were quite small.

Reviewed By Richlittle2323My wife and I have been travelling quite a bit with our daughter and without a doubt this may have been one of if not the best family vacation we have ever had. We met some friends here as well and were given a list of things to do from one of the hotel staff and everything did somehow was better than the last. The hotel itself is in the perfect location. There is a room to store gear so your not dragging it into and through your room. There are ski hills and rental shops all within walking distance. Food, bars, and an after ski spot again all within a 5 minute walk. Right across the street is a beautiful house that has a restaurant inside and offers carriage rides up the mountain to a secluded restaurant and if your reading this you have to do the carriage ride. It is an absolute must. Oh and it includes breakfast and dinner. And this isn't some holiday inn continental meal. The dinner quality is better than most restaurants, serious gourmet quality stuff that left all of us still talking about it weeks later. We are already planning our next trip around coming back here and doing it all again.

Our guesthouse is located in the beautiful and peaceful village Filzmoos (Neuberg), 4 km from the center, approximately 1.000 Meters above sea level. Thanks to its altitude and location at the end of the valley, it is a snow-sure winter sport region in the province of Salzburg. Skiing fun starts as soon as you step out of the guesthouse, with the Schwaigalmlift only 300 meters away. Filzmoos is part of the Ski Amade region. The ski pass gives you access to more than 270 lifts and over 860 kilometers of pistes. Filzmoos also offers many possibilities for ski touring, cross country skiing, winter walking and snowshoeing. An event you may not miss is the yearly international balloon festival in January! In spring, summer and autumn it is the ideal location for hiking, (mountain) biking, climbing and mountain enthusiasts, thanks to its unique location close to the Bischofsmutze (2.458 M) and the Dachstein (2.995 M).

Reviewed By Boris RA real jewel! We planned to stay three days and we lucky to be able to extend for another day. The place is super clean, organized and charming. Katja is very friendly and helpful beside super professional. The "breakfast for champions" was included and it is the only way to start a day in beautiful part of Austria. There is so much to do an not enough time so we were knackered every nights but looking forward to get back to our room and enjoy the sound of the creek under the window. We will certainly be back but for longer time! Thank you Katja for making our vacation every more special!

A comfortable and pretty hotel in the centre of Filzmoos
Reviewed By GES57Having visited this hotel many times in the winter seasons , I have to say that its equally welcoming and homely in the summer. It's the quieter season so the restaurant only runs a limited service, but the position of this hotel very near the centre with a very efficient tourism office, lovely restaurants and bars as well as it's position almost opposite the only supermarket, makes it the perfect choice for a walking holiday based in this beautiful village. The rooms are of a good size and have all the amenities one needs including wifi , the south facing aspect of many of its balcony rooms and outdoor patio looking out onto fields and woods is just lovely. The breakfast room is sunny and well appointed and features a good selection of juices, cereals, jogurts, fruit salad , breads, cold meats and cheeses as well as bacon and scrambled eggs. Everything is spotlessly clean and the owners are there personally to assist you every day. There is a lovely sauna, steam room and rest area which is great after a long hike as well as table tennis and other games available in case the weather turns. Highly recommendable and worth returning to.
