Breakfast is not so great and you will not find any surprising. We stayed in a room with sofa bed, not big but enough. However, I feel it’s not very comfortable to sleep in the sofa bed. I think the most surprising is the Bosch coffee maker.

Reviewed By elidezI stayed there one night. All perfect. Breakfast not included, but bought for daughter and me, 11€ each. But it’s a full buffet, so worth it. Parking overnight was 9€ but they let us keep the car there till 2pm, so was convenient as downtown shopping was only a 10-15 min walk. Nice parks close by, museum, sculpture garden, etc and if you have kids under 10, a very cool playground. I have zero complaints and would highly recommend to any class of traveller as rates are reasonable. If I were to say anything, it would be lack of a bar to hold on to in the shower, towels a bit small, but ok and single beds should be at least 1.1 or 1.2 m wide, not 90cm in a double twin room. As an adult, hadn’t slept in such a small bed in years! But would still go back! Even my daughter loved it.

Reviewed By olafk92Unacceptable! They don't have a 24h counter, okay. There is a check in machine at the entrance, okay. Counter closes at 11:00 and machine (!!) Opens at 14:00. Are you stupid? Hilarious, even for such a cheap brand.

Light, soft colours, comfortable furniture and beautiful details will give you a mediterranean feeling. Easy to reach, a little lake in front of the house, short ways to the big cities in the Rhein and Ruhr area, whatever is of importance for you, the staff of Hotel Landhaus Milser is well prepared to meet your wishes.

Reviewed By StifterSpent a single night at the hotel on a business trip, and the hotel ticked all the boxes I need for such stay: - Easy to reach just off the Autobahn (and railway station 100 meters away); - Parking easily available - free off charge outside, or for € 10 in the basement; - Reasonably large and well appointed rooms - very clean (although the age Shows); - Sufficient WLAN/WiFi quality for my needs; - Same reasonable breakfast spread as other business Hotels (but no made-to-order eggs, pancakes etc.) - Did dine at the Italian restaurant, and again - reasonable - I did not try the Sauna & co. so cannot comment. but the view to the Ponds from my room was quite nice and Relaxing. In conclusion - a business hotel one where one can have an efficient stay. € 145/night is in my opinion right at the limit for the quality offered, the same goes for the restaurant prices that also appear optimised... The location is optimal for where I need to go in Duisburg, so I will certainly check for pricing and availability next time around.

Reviewed By Thomas GSicher ist das Viertel nicht das tollste. Aber es hat so viel Scham. Parken vor der Tür ist Kostenlos. Das Restaurant so wie man es bei Schimanski schon gesehen hat. Die Zimmer sind einfach, aber alles da, hell und sehr sauber. Ein Kiosk ist gleich um die Ecke, und hier Trift man dann noch den, der eben in den Pott gehört. Ich finde es klasse, und bin froh dass es sowas noch gibt.

Central Pension is the former central pharmacy located in western Duisburg and offers bright rooms that come with free WiFi access. Set in a city villa, guests are offered basic accommodation as well as access to a shared kitchen. The rooms at Central Pension feature basic, modern furnishing and include a sofa and a washing machine. Each room comes with a flat-screen TV and guests have access to a terrace. Set only 250 from a pedestrian area, guests will find various cafés and restaurant in the vicinity of the villa. Offering good public transport links to the city centre, Central Pension is located just 5 km from Duisburg Town Hall. This property was the former Central Apotheke. The property offers free parking and is only 20 km from Dusseldorf Airport.
Something a little different to mainstream hotels.
Reviewed By Darren SI arrived a little later than the stated 20.00h last check in time but no problem. Apparently the glass doors into the reception is never used, so you go to the side door at all times anyway. The owner is very informative regarding what to do and where to go. The room was fairly basic with an unfinished kitchenette in one corner. The toilet was across the corridor and the shower room further down the passageway. A little running of the gauntlet if your wrapped in a towel as youre viewable via the reception area. No food stuffs are available except free coffee and honour system for coke and beer. There is a 24hr Shell garage across the road with a small supermarket. Duisburg is not the most prosperous of areas and to be fair the hotel is very reasonably priced. You pay your money and make your choice.

Especially rooms on the new "non smoking" side are great. - Shower is hot and great pressure - Clean and soacious rooms - Easy access to freeways - S bahn station (30 min to Dusseldorf) and supermarket (Penny) next door - Good breakfast (great fresh bread) - Restaurant had yummy food Only down sides to this hotel: Restaurant can be noisy if hired out for functions at night, people gathering at the front of the hotel and smoking (smoke comes all the way to the reception).

Reviewed By Vicky EWe have been staying here since the winter of 1999 on the recommendation of friends who live nearby - very sound judgement. Everything about Hotel Lonac works for us, location, parking, cleanliness, friendliness, size of room, quality of bed and the breakfasts! Breakfasts here are absolutely outstanding and set you up for a day out at the Messe. A large variety of cold meats and cheeses which are constantly topped up during breakfast. Hot breakfasts are also available and cooked to order. Happy to recommend this hotel and the outstanding Balkonhof restaurant across the car park.
