B&B Magna Grecia is in a villa with garden located in a quiet residential area surrounded by greenery and facing the beautiful Ionian sea: so it is close to the town center and many beach resorts but at the same time away from the busy streets. The property is just in front of next to the coast, the sea is a short walking distance. The historic city center and the archaeological area are about 3 km away and they can be reached by public transport. Free entrance 24h/24h, private enclosed parking. The rooms were recently renovated and have use of a kitchen, private bathroom, air conditioning and wireless internet. For those who want more comfort, in addition to the rooms, there is also an apartment of about 80 square meters equipped with everything you need.

Reviewed By Liz-Oxford-UKI came for one night and stayed for three. The room, which is spacious, warm (even in February), tastefully and well-furnished with a fridge, microwave and coffee machine has a lovely view out over the garden to the sea. By the way, there is air conditioning in the room for summer. Outside the room is a covered terrace with a space for the room with a table and chairs, cleverly designed so its not overlooked by other rooms. The garden is full of interesting plants and designed as small rooms, with unusual containers for all the plants squeezed in.....Handbags, old coffee makers, pots, cups etc. Everything repurposed! Breakfast is delicious...I chose savoury and had great bread, parma ham and cheese. As well there is yogurt, cereal, and other pastries in the room. A large slice of homemade cake is delivered every afternoon, made freshly each day by the owner's aunt. Very good Wifi and TV. Parking is within the property and secure and easy. The area is a quiet residential one, with a nice walk along the seafront or beach to the town centre. The bathroom is large with a great shower, bidet and radio. In a month of travelling around Italy, this has to be the best place I have stayed, and it's excellent value...and they allow dogs for a small extra charge. The staff and owner are professional and friendly and are on site, immediately available for any difficulties.

Reviewed By Barry CWhile we were doing the night to night reservations the night before we arrived at a destination, we checked out the Hotel San Giorgio....looked good on paper so we booked it. They did not disappoint. they were also located next to Le Lanterne restaurant which i previously reviewed as a great restaurant. The room was clean the bed was a little hard but i am a soft bed guy and I am sure others like a firm mattress. I got a good night sleep so although he mattress was not an issue, but for my personal comfort and what i want...it got a 4 instead of a 5. They have a breakfast which is great and both Ellen and I enjoyed it. The entire trip we were booking two rooms at a time and we did get a better rate because we were not 2 people in a single room. All in all it was a great stay there. It is directly on the outskirts of town and is not located downtown but the easy on easy off gave us exactly what we were looking for in a hotel. I recommend it.

Right in the water front with restaurants all along the front and a few bars too. Great hotel, well be going back for aure

Reviewed By denizinWe stumbled upon this property after being late to book a hotel in Calabria during August 15 holiday period (ferragosto). And I have to say we were very lucky because not only was the hotel on an amazing property, it was also recently renovated, the rooms were fresh and super clean, the bathrooms had this amazing lighting feature. The property itself had its private beach where you would barely see anyone around which was such a nice change after the crowded calabria beaches. the service was amazing, and i have to mention the restaurant was really beautiful and romantic. Last but not least, there was a permanent exhibition of a local artist with funky stuff on display all around...which made it fun to walk around the hotel and find interesting art around. The staff was beyond helpful and nice, even printed our boarding pass at midnight so that we wouldnt have to rush in the morning. Definitely, 100% reccomended and very convenient since the Crotone airport is only 30mins away.

Simple, nicely placed one
Reviewed By Michal BI stayed here for only one night in the off-season period so it was more about only having a comfortable place to stay instead of using it as a base to go on the beach. I emphasise it because I guess that its position near to the sea, especially with marvellous views it offers, it´s the main advantage of this hotel. However even in general I could say that it´s a very good hotel with a great quality/price ratio. The rooms are simple, but at least my one was very clean. Even the breakfast was fine with a vast selection, a continental type, so not only sweets. What I didn´t like is the missing soudproofing of rooms, you hear everything from other rooms, nearly as you were in the room with somebody else. Without this negative side I would call this hotel perfect.

Reviewed By NicolaOrlCentral most place on Crotonese seafront. The area filled up with clubs and restaurant. Great new on the seaside from most rooms in the B&B. I would recommend this to young customers during summer and possibly to others off season. The rooms were clean and really very large. The host is nice and helpful. Possibility of self check-in. The breakfast could be improved.

Crotone is a great place to visit, it has a small old town, good shopping, great restaurants, and beaches in the town itself, both free and paid for. Enzo, the proprietor, is a great host, providing a very friendly welcome and providing lots of useful information of where to eat, where to shop etc. Thank you Enzo.

Well located and comfortable in Crotone
Reviewed By JwestcoasterMilu' was located on the 3rd floor of an apartment building in the central part of the city. A selection of meat, cheese, and cornetti were provided for breakfast. The streets near the hotel were lively at night and we walked to dinner. There were plenty of restaurants close by. The room was nicely decorated, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom modern with plenty of hot water. We enjoyed afternoon wine on the small, sunny terrace. For anyone with mobility issues, there is no elevator. Parking is on the street. We arrived on a holiday, so there was no problem finding parking.
