On Arrival All Spa Treatments Were Booked Out
Reviewed By UlliHongKong_ChinaOn arrival we were told that we could not book any spa treatments (booked out) even though the hotel likes to present itself as a Spa and Wellness hotel. After I told them that this was very disappointing they managed to squeeze in a 30 minute treatment (each) for my friend and I the next day in the morning (not the time nor length I had in mind). I think they were trying very hard to accommodate but do not seem to be well equipped for this. I was still very disappointed as I was looking forward to a pampering weekend. The masseuse however did an excellent job! The food was good, the sommelier very knowledgeable, the room clean. We had expected more according to the pictures online. The Spa looked much bigger on the pictures than it was in reality and the decor in general was not the standard we had hoped for.

Reviewed By octavianf2016We've just been again this Christmas, December 21 - 28, 2019, and met with my wife's sister's family over there. We have noticed a lot of improvements since the last time (December 2015) we've been there: new fitness room with sauna and restaurant room extension, as well as a new pool and terrace. Ohh, and the WiFi was far better than 4 years ago! We've got the kids rooms on the side, which are great, they isolated us from the rest of the guest on the same floor. The winter activities in the area keeps the kids busy, and us happy. Like to go back in Summer or Autumn for more hiking activities.

Short stay but very comfortable!

A very warm welcome, a good dinner at moderate prices. Breakfast is a buffet enough for breakfast. Each room has its own table, but you can go out and on the street. Attendants are very attentive and family friendly. When you left, you were given a bottle of wine, too, very nice. I recommend the hotel !!!

Reviewed By Silvano DAmazing breakfast: one of the most genuine, fully equipped breakfast. Everything you need and more. The room was clean and very comfortable but without basket for trash and bath soaps (oversight?). Owners very kind and accomodating. Easy parking. I would stay here again.

Great place for kids to learn to ski
Reviewed By barydarcyWe have just returned from Landal Brandnertal after a 7 night stay. We wanted our 7 year old and 5 year to learn how to ski and this place was perfect as the accommodation is right on the slopes beside the kids ski school area. The focus was more on kids in the ski school however, there didn't seem to be adult group lessons. We loved staying here, the apartment was great, the kids loved the pool and we were really happy with the ski school.

A very good hotel for those seeking peace, hiking and good food.
Reviewed By Gaby_stecThe hotel is located almost 4, 5 km from the main road to Brand, on a sunny slope (Tschengla). There are no shops nearby. Rooms are very clean, big enough, bright and have a balcony. There is no elevator. Parking big enough. The meals can be taken inside and on the terrace. Hotel owner (Herr Ully) is a very nice person, which always find a good word. If you have planned a longer route on demand, you can prepare a small meal package. The menu is soup, salad (no salad bar), 2 main courses and dessert. The boy who serves is very special! Very attentive to customer desires, makes them feel good.

Excellent apartment , poor landal
Reviewed By Lior LWe stayed in this landal for a whole week. We are frequent travelers to landal parks, expecting the usual good value for money experience. The landal location is great, small village, well located in the beautiful Brend valley. The rooms are big, new and well equipped. In front of the landal there is a beautiful old church. beautiful indeed, but boy what a headache ... The bells ring every 15 min starting with a full ~48 rings from various bells at 7 am (destroying all chances for a nice morning in bed) and ending at 22:00... This is the biggest downside for this hotel. Second problem , this is not a real Landal, meaning all related services such as pool, restaurants, supermarket and kids activity are provided in a nearby (1.5km) landal - this requires traveling by car (after all it is up hill in the alps) and therefor not really utilized. In the room we had a very noisy bathroom vent, and since there isn't even a fully functional reception, we had nobody to talk to about it. Bottom line, try to use to up hill landal If you can or bring your ear plugs...

Reviewed By Ckj813Family run inn with amazing hospitality - they were so kind and accommodating. When we couldn’t start our 5 day trek because of weather, they troubleshooted maps with us and offered to drive us an hour to a new starting point. 10/10 recommend

Reviewed By Phood_criticMy wife and son spent two lovely days and evenings here. The location is gorgeous and ideally suited for hiking and skiing in the immediate vicinity. The hotel was immaculate, spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The owner, Eva, is one of the most welcoming hosts we have ever met in many decades of traveling. I very highly recommend staying here.
