Reviewed By PatOC1967Another enjoyable stay at the Liberty Hotel; strategically positioned in the rejuvenated harbour side setting gives you the calling of the sea. Rooms are well proportioned with great internet access. Harbour side rooms gives that added extra. Dinner on both evenings were at their own Mulberry Street restaurant which came out on top both times. Curry lemongrass foam soup was absolutely exquisite as was the North Sea Cod. All staff were first class.

Good location! Great Value!
Reviewed By ladonh610Family of Four. Breakfast was excellent! Plenty of variety warm and cold. Rooms were spacious enough. Junior suite worked well for our family needs. Great view of the canal from the 4th floor. Only complaint was that the hallways and elevator were cold (during winter). Wind storm when we stayed and it was loud and a bit drafty on the windows. Restrooms were adequate, clean and decent water pressure. Hot water was great! Be sure to visit the zoo, the Fiedlers Restaurant, AusWandererHaus and Klimahaus when in town. We used Taxi’s to get around as the train was not close to the hotel.

Good hotel with unfriendly reception
Reviewed By MariaGermaWe stayed at this hotel for a weekend and overall everything was good. The rooms are clean, breakfast ok and location close to the center. The reason why I want to give only 2 stars is because of the ladies at the reception, absolutely unfriendly and without any clue of customer service. Quick example: the morning of our departure, we went to the reception and left the key of the room on the desk saying “thank you and goodbye”. The 2 ladies behind the desk did not watched us, they did not saying anything but they simply continued to speak about their private topics. I prefer to spend more than 130euro per night in a hotel where at least people are greeting you.

A really cozy hotel that is so small and nice.
Reviewed By TobbeAnderssonHere you could easily install yourself to the finest hotel in Bremerhaven. After my entire hotel visits, I can say that this was one of the better ones. Before, I had heard that the city is not as charming as it was considered only a port city to transport containers back and forth. There are plenty of things such as museums artificial parks and tall houses with vantage points. With a little walk south from the city center, in 30 minutes you can reach the absolute most charming fishing port with associated market and tremendously good restaurants with a large selection of dishes. We would strongly recommend that you visit if you are going here. The best thing about the hotel is also their very nice breakfast in the nice environment that is there. Also, they offered the best parking for the motorcycle in their backyard and with secure storage where the gate was closed for the nights. The staff was very nice and with the best possible service you can imagine.

Reviewed By KrisJ116Booked the hotel for a 1night pre business trip and was a bit weird. Upon checkin I had to come in through the back of the hotel as main entrance doors broke. The girl on reception was a bit rude. No hello no smile just a “sign”. Was given room key with room number on and that was it. Not even told where to find my room. I found my own way. I had booked a double room and when entering the room it was seriously small. The room had no heating and wooden floor so went to bed wrapped up in extra jumper I had in my suitcase. The bed was a double but as 1person in the room it had a very small single quilt in the middle of the bed. If u rolled over u had no cover. You also only got 1 very thin pillow that ur head was actually on the mattress. Have to say the best bit of the hotel was the evening serving in the restaurant. The evening staff was friendly and welcoming. Ordered dinner and didn’t realise how much you would be served. This was great. Unfortunately the breakfast staff are totally opposite. The breakfast waitress was not that bothered I was there and took more notice of the locals. It took for me to finish and go to leave for her to then ask if I wanted tea or coffee. This hotel to me is not worth the star rating given. Sorry no pictures of the bedroom as fingers were so cold to take

Nice staff, clean room, quiet neighborhood

However, I stayed at the hotel on a week night in mid-May, and did not experience noise issues, and the outside temperature was perfect for having the windows open. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice. As other reviewers stated, the place is quite clean and the staff are very nice. I found it to be quite walkable to restaurants, but for my preferences (on this trip, anyway) I liked that it was a few minutes’ walk from the noisier areas.

Good value for money
Reviewed By TheHolliheimersHotel is centrally located in the Lehe district of Bremerhaven. Rooms are very functional and on the smaller side. The HVAC isn’t adjustable —at least during winter — so we would recommend that you ask for a room facing the car park, which allows you to leave the window open at night... we’d imagine that the rooms facing the main road could be noisy in the mornings. Bed/pillows were comfortable, the bathroom and shower were fine but small. The breakfast wasn’t of amazing quality... but given that we had it included (or even just over €6 if paid outright), really can’t quibble a bit. Lots of options. Ultimately, slept quite well and would stay here again for one night.
