Reviewed By daytrip5140521432022@Hotel : Please, make it obvious at the booking (at hotel website, to Scandic booking personnel, ... etc, ...) that "your Restaurant" is not a Restaurant. Explain to the guests during the booking process that if they want to eat in your hotel, only "very standard" buffet is available ; to give to your Customers a chance to book in another hotel where they could enjoy a proper dinner where they stay over night ! @Guests : Do not forget to say to the hotel reception that you want your room to be done, if you forget to say it, your room won't be done :-(

Reviewed By Cecilia SWe stayed her for one night while visiting Romme Alpin (also a great place;-)) It was our first stay, previously we have stayed at Scandic. The prices of Gylle hotel were very competitive and we will stay here next time. Rooms are like typical scandic rooms. The lobby restaurant is very cozy and the breakfast was great. Also appreciated the personal touches, like having headache pills at the breakfast buffe. Caring. Very nice staff. We will stay here again next time we go to Romme Alpin. Not only for the price, but for the overall experience. If you want to go out in Borlänge in the evening, you will however need to take a car. A bit of walking distance

Reviewed By Hans HI was visiting this hotel 28-29 of March i got sick and apply for later check out I was promised to Check out 2_00 pm by the reception manager, all was ok suddenly she got back to me I coud not have it, the hotel was full she said I check up the avalibity on the net and there was lots of rooms left! I confronted here with this and still she lied to me1 a little bit later I spoke to a woman in our travelcompany and she got later Check out to 2 Pm :( and she got it later than me:( Now we both have confirmed Covid! How can this Hotel have a manager how lie to customer ;( outragious.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt
Reviewed By irinaelisaDas Zimmer war sauber. Das Bad und die Küche teilte ich mit jemand anderem. Es war von der Sauberkeit her ganz okay. Das Zimmer hatte ich nach aussen zu den Parkplätzen hin. Da hörte ich schon das eine oder andere Mal das Schneefahrzeug. Ansonsten war es sehr ruhig (evtl. wegen den Feiertagen). Das Frühstück habe ich nicht gebucht. Das Personal war freundlich und konnte gut Englisch. Da ich früh morgens abreiste, konnte ich den Schlüssen in den Briefkasten werfen. WLAN war kostenlos und hat super funktioniert. Habe in Borlänge eine Freundin besucht, die dort in der Nähe an der Uni studiert. Sie wohnte direkt neben an im Studentenheim. In Gehdistanz kann man einige Geschäfte und auch ein grosses Einkaufszentrum erreichen. Der Bahnhof (Anschluss nach Stockholm und Anschluss zum Flughafen Arlanda) ist in ca. 30min Gehdistanz erreichbar. Es hat eine Eisbahn in der Nähe (bei den Fussballfeldern). Man kann gut spazieren gehen. Die Stadt selbst (ca. 30-40min Gehdistanz) bietet einige Geschäfte, kleine Cafés mit leckerem Gebäck und Restaurants. Dort läuft aber nicht besonders viel.

The camping site is located in the beautiful nature of Mellsta park that is very appreciated by both the locals and the tourists. Here you have both relaxation and activities close by all year around. Here you can enjoy the fresh air and the amazing nature of Dalarna in a variety of different ways. If you are looking for relaxation and physical challenges there is several exercises trails in different lengths and levels in connection to Mellsta park. A snow cannon makes it possible to enjoy skiing even when the weather wouldn’t allow it during winter. Dalälven offers the opportunity for fishing and here you will be able to catch pike, sea bream, roach and perch. For those who wish there is also plenty of opportunities to explore and be amazed by the wilderness. On site you will find a very popular playground and mini golf course. If you want to broaden your horizon a bit Borlänge offers shopping and the possibility to visit the water park Aqua Nova, the Jussi Björling museum, 2047 Science Center and Sweden’s oldest museum Ornäsloftet where Gustav Vasa hid from the Danish in 1521. A short travel outside of Borlänge you will also find Romme Alpin, the adventure mine Tuna Hästberg and amazing outdoor ice skating on lake Runn.

В квартире было все необходимое - детская кроватка и стул, микроволновка, духовка и плита, много посуды и кухонной утвари (даже миксер), настольные игры для детей и взрослых, стиральная машина, мыло, халаты, фен. Приезжать надо на машине, чтобы ездить по окрестностям - на страстную ферму, в Фалун и шахту, Torsåg, Lekland и прочее. Все было отлично, приедем еще!

Love the view of water, the walks in nature, and history of the manor

It is run by a friendly and helpful couple, who are doing their best to give their guests the best they can offer. The building definitely needs some works but it cannot be done in one click of a finger considering the pandemic still prevails. However, this building is what makes the stay lovely. It is so full of history. Sweden's pride Anders Zorn, Carl Larsson and Selma Lagerlöf used to visit the place, as well as then crown prince of Sweden. There are pictures, letters, sketches of the original owners all over the house. So first thing we like is history of the place which the owners gladly share with anyone interested. Up in the tower, you can see the room where original furniture used by Selma while writing are still there. Moreover, an old iron factory and an active hydro power are stone's throw away from the property. Second thing we love in Ulfshyttan is nature, the view of the water and the walk in the woods where there are berries, mushrooms, flowers, trees. As soon as we arrived and saw the water to the left and to the right (and we could see it from our room as well), it is serenity at its best. There is a gazebo where you can take your drink and eat your food or just sit and talk. They have many chickens which provide the eggs for breakfast. Home-baked bread for breakfast, bacon and eggs cooked esp for the guests are appreciated. The bathroom in our room is very new and fresh. We wish Ulfshyttan Herrgård the best of luck. It is run by a hardworking, hospitable couple, the place has a lot of potential.
