Reviewed By John LSpent one night here from UK. Charming quiet country guest house with friendly hosts. Looked like some interesting walks in the surrounding countryside and mountains -maybe next time with more time. The advertising material and photos of the hotel do not do it justice at all and feel it would benefit from a more professional approach. Draw back for some maybe lack of wi-fi. Recommend a stay.

Wonderful hospitality
Reviewed By tlj777This family run hotel is amazing, we arrived late in the evening and the owners were waiting to welcome us with tea, bread and sweets. Wonderful warm happy people. The room was nice and clean, good size with comfortable bed, shower had good pressure and a balcony with a view of the sea. Car parking was onsite directly in front of the hotel. Breakfast simple but delicious, including homemade bread and cheese borek. Most outstanding though is how friendly and welcoming the owners are with all their guests, was fantastic. Highly recommend this hotel when visiting Amasra.

Great location with amazing hosts

We parked our car and never had to use it again since the location was in walking distance to everywhere you might want to go to. Sleep in the old castle district with the voice of the waves thinking about the Genovese times.

Reviewed By Yolcu6323They actually think that they can be a 4 star hotel by having a pool and stuff like that. The people who work there (reception & breakfast) ..I actually asked myself if they hate their work 0 motivation. The standard room was clean but really small. The ocean 'view' was the pool view ? and so noisy (excl. max volume music starting 9.00). You can't sleep well. The breakfast was so poor and the staff was only busy with cleaning everything (don't expect any silence) so they could leave exactly at 10.30. All the time I was just laughing and could not believe that this was a 4 star hotel. The thing is that they actually believe that they are a 4 star. Note: pool too small, beach dirty. If you wan't a hotel full of noise disrespect and swimming over each other in the pool .. this is a perfect hotel! Last one: If you wan't thea in the morning (breakfast) and there is no cup left anymore.. well bad luck no one is going to bring you a cup they are all too busy with being ready on time (10.30).

Serviceable hotel, good for kids.
Reviewed By AgathaMildewthis is outside of and up the hill from Amasra. Its anti-COVID measures were very good. It has a pool. Its view over the Black Sea is beautiful. It was clean, the A/C was efficient and the water pressure was excellent. Breakfast was okay. If I had kids who wanted pools, I would stay here again.

World War time… Now, the grandson of the lovers, Ahmet Bey has been running the hotel for more than 10 years. If you visit the hotel, you can learn the story of his grand parents. It is a clean and cozy boutique hotel. If you like nice sea view and calm environment, you should stay at this hotel. However, if you like luxury services, this nice and very friendly family enterprise might not satisfy your expectations. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool and private car parking area. It is a pet friendly hotel, too.

Reviewed By zuskieThe best thing about this hotel was the view—we stayed in the family room with a balcony. The view of the ocean was simply stunning. Can’t say much about anything else though. The hotel was pretty basic. The family room had a weird configuration. The main door opened to a tiny room before connecting to the bigger bedroom. Housekeeping didn’t clean our room daily.

Wonderful hotel and staff
Reviewed By EmilyUK2015I had a relaxing weekend at this hotel with possibly the kindest and most helpful staff I have met. They helped me with my luggage when I arrived in the middle of the night and answered my questions about shuttle buses etc. Despite my broken Turkish. I also had the most stunning view from my window and the hotel was in the perfect location - strides away from the coach park, museum and town centre Parts of the hotel looks a bit tired but overall I felt very privileged to be staying here and was sad to leave.

Good place, nice house next to the center
Reviewed By Péter MPositive: Perfect location, at the edge of the center. Tidy, clean, well designed house, with real friendly owner. Wifi was strong and relaible, and I got a free parking for my motorbike, inside the garden. Negative: Price was a bit high without breakfast, compering with the average prives in the region. Cats, hens, and roosters in the garden, which is nice, but can be loud in the morning. There was a bad smell in the room, which came from the bathroom
