Reviewed By railjetFree cancellation, however, they don't answer to the calls and the emails about the cancellation. Then they keep sending papers to the home address (they could have just replied to the 10 emails I sent or called me back) requesting to pay on their bank account, when they ALREADY TOOK the money from the credit card. Again, emails, phone calls, no answers or people that didn't speak English. Just after I said I would contact the police about that, they stopped to send letters, and guess what... they answered my emails What a joke

We only stayed for the night
Reviewed By Cph_XYJust stayed for the night passing through Germany. We had 3 comfort rooms. Clean but not very comfortable or modern. Beds extremely hard, rooms not soundproof. Service (Bar, restaurant, in-room service/dining, etc) very limited availability. Breakfast not very good. The hotel seemed mainly to be a resort for elderly people. The staff was kind. But not 4 star quality.

Great Stay, Nice Spa but Unfriendly Welcome
Reviewed By Edgar SWhat a nice place. The room is really big with a separate living room. A nice but small bathroom. The room is located in a quiet area. The breakfast is amazing with a real deluxe spread as well with friendly staff. The indoor pool is grand, with many massage spray outlets as well a sauna area where one can use it unclothed. Really a nice experience. On the downsize the lady who checked us in on the arrival date, was moody, rude and really not switched on. Not helpful at all. A black mark unfortunately for a very pleasant stay.

Reviewed By RJR2005This hotel has a classic beauty-high ceilings, stain glassed windows, wooden paneling and gold glazing. The hotel is located near the downtown walking area and Kurgarten. This is the place to be for eating, relaxing and live music. There were three concerts a day during our stay. The hotel consists of multiple buildings, some of which are more dated than others. Our room was in the Garden Villa. While the room was very spacious and included relaxing garden views, it was also well worn and decorated in the 1970s-1980s fashion. Our family was staying in the main building in a much more modern and well maintained room. Hotel has its own parking garage. The breakfast is served in a beautiful atmosphere with friendly staff. The breakfast selection was one of the best I have seen. Warm foods, deli selection, fresh fruits and breads, numerous yogurts and juices. The service was very accommodating and English friendly. The pool, hot tub and sauna area were also nice. The exception being that the 90 Degree sauna was not functioning properly and the sauna rules weren’t clearly displayed. This led to confusion about whether bathing suits were allowed/required in the sauna area. NOTE: Exchange or turn in of robes and the red pool towels is at the front desk.

Our hotel is located entering the pedestrian zone and the spa gardens. We have 32 Rooms (single, twin and double rooms) as well as one lift for the guests. All rooms include bath/shower/wc, a hair dryer, a telephone, cable-TV, W-LAN and a desk.
Comfortable, well priced and central
Reviewed By IngaSydney_AustraliaBooked for 4 nights but ended up staying for two weeks for family reasons. I got to know the hotel and friendly and helpful staff very well. Whilst the rooms are not large, they are very comfortable and well laid out - I had a small separate lounge with a desk, TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a nice outlook over Bad Kissingen - which made my longer stay very agreeable. The rooms are very clean and the bed was very comfortable. An added benefit was free internet access. The restaurant (open Fridays and Saturdays only) where daily breakfast is also served is nice and bright. Buffett-style breakfast was varied and plentiful. Access to the reception is better taken through the restaurant, otherwise a little difficult to find. In all a great find!

Unkomplizert sind die freundlichen Eigner vor Ort und so bezogen wir unser schönes Zimmer mit Balkon, dieses war etwas klein, warm, aber ein Kühlschrank war da. Das Zimmer ist hinten gelegen und damit auch sehr ruhig. Das Bett angenehm bequem und groß. Insgesamt wären kleiner Reperaturen im Zimmer und Bad nötig. Das Frühstück hat unsere Erwartung voll erfüllt, alles war da und auch hier zeigt sich wieder die ausgesprochene Freundlichkeit der Besitzerin beim Service. Der Preis ist fair und für dieses Hotel ist die Lage ausschlaggebend. Werden wir wieder buchen.

Reviewed By TMG001We booked a single room by phone. Checkin: Easy going, friendly Checkout: Efficient, all fine Room: Single bed, balcony, street side. Overall very quiet, it is possible to sleep with open window, no traffic noise. Bed is ok, had a good sleep. Comfy bathroom, anything you need. Balcony is good to seat with two people. Morning sun. Breakfast: Excellent breakfast, even in covid 19 situation. Excellent service, in particular the young team members go the extra mile with a friendly and open attitude. Restaurant: Food is fantastic, good wine pairing, it is joy to eat here. Location: Directly at the park, but not in the city center. Easy access by car. Good for hiking, running, and enjoying Bad Kissingen and the Rhön mountains. What else: Hotel provides two nice terraces and a garden. It was relaxing to seat here. Overall: Good value, good service, good team. Laudensacks is one of the best places to stay in Bad Kissingen. Will come back.

Reviewed By asanay2013Ab der Ankunft im Hotel Fontana fühlten wir uns rundum umsorgt und entschleunigt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Jeder Wunsch wurde direkt erfüllt. Speziell unserem Vierbeiner Kya war jeder sehr wohl gesonnen. Die Anlage selbst war sehr sauber und weitläufig. Die ayurvedische Vollpension ist sehr zu empfehlen. Jedes Essen eine geschmackliche Überraschung. Das Ayuvedische Kurzentrum mit allen Anwendungen und dem Personal exzellent. Erholung und Gesundung pur!!!!

Decent hotel.
Reviewed By Konstantinos VClean premises, fantastic location right by the town centre and facing the picturesque gardens, very spacious room, basic but tasty breakfast. Wi-fi was malfunctioning everywhere. There are various open-air events going on right by the hotel, so it can become very noisy up until 22:30 or later - bring some earplugs if you're an early sleeper. Breakfast staff was quite stressed at certain points, tables were unset and small part of the selection had briefly run out. Perhaps some extra workers wouldn't hurt. Lovely woman at the reception, very friendly, polite and pretty much fluent in English - especially considering that English-speakers are anything but abundant in Bad Kissingen. I think I even heard her speak Russian with some guests. Contrary to that, a younger guy that was behind the desk during my check-out, was rather dull. Overall a positive experience, although a tad overpriced, in my opinion - however, local accommodation is not cheap, to be frank.
