Reviewed By Mark DThis is our Bad Gastein visit # 4 and first stay at Miramonte hotel. Positive - Beautiful view, good breakfast, decent size of rooms and bathrooms. Negative - Hotel need renovation. Not enough lighting in the room, getting very depressing when dark. 4* hotel and they don't serve you with hair conditioner and body lotion. Lots of flies in the breakfast area! No Wi-Fi in the rooms, you have to use the bar area fool of flies. We will never stay again at this hotel. AVOID!

Reviewed By Jukka HVery nice and clean hotel in apartment with balcony and excellent view of the mountains. We liked everything and Meryl at the reception was nice. In spring time the best pistes were in Dorf Gastein and take the first bus in order to get best snow conditions in the pistes that were driven with snowcats to excellent condition every night Take care that you dont get a hidden corner table if you go for fondue in Bellewue Alm as you pay double preis compared to BGS center ( taxi included)

Reviewed By Dusan FWe booked hotel from 30.3. - 2.4. We were very satisfied. No problem with late arrival and very nice and kind staff at reception. As the weather was bad, we really enjoyed to spend a lot of time at spa and pool. Because the season in Bad Gastein was near to the end of winter times, hotel was not full. So it was so nice to relax at pool and spa, where was " nobody". We had room with balcony - I am reccommending. All was very clean and perfect. Breakfast was very rich, and - because we like to sleep:-), perfect is, that breakfasts are untill 11.00 ! Even if you come late to breakfast - nothing was missing. I would like to thank to staff, also, that we could leave hotel little later, after 11 am. So shortly - to say - 1 ) Nice and clean and big hotel 2) breakfast until 11. am and 3) CHECK OUT AT 11.am. Many hotels has breakfast and check out only to 10am. So that was the biggest advantage for us. Hotel has thermal water in pool, so You dont need to spend money at public Therme. What I would like to reccommend? Bad Gastein is also known as place with thermal radon water. Radon is good for many problems, also for skin problem / i had little allergy by wearing the mask a long time/. So I wanted to use also radon water. But water in pool is deradonised. Maybe - could be also in hotel also radon baths. And infopoint about the places, where You can use radon therapy in Bad Gastein. It was missing. I saw, that some guests living in hotel were visiting the Radon Stolen. So - because Bad Gastein is not only place for tourism but also for heathy procedures, I was missing full info, where I can get the radon Therapy ( baths, springs, fountains with radon ). Tips , where to use radon therapy. It could be be solution to know all about the city like " all inclusive informations" about sking, turism, but also therapy.

The hotel Alpenblick is located in one of the most beautiful parts of Bad Gastein with a magnificent panoramic view to the Alps. Enjoy the lovely landscaped garden with the panorama-swimming-pool, the kneipp-waters warm and cold and the vaporised whitewaters - for relaxation and vitalisation. Wonderful hiking tours start directly at the hotel. You just walk 8-10 minutes to reach the historical centre of Bad Gastein. The Graukogel lift for skiing in winter is close, bus stop, you can ski directly to the hotel's doorstep. Buffet breakfast, in the evening menus for selection (also vegetarian meals) and salad buffet. All public area is non smoking. Classic and alternative treatments to swing in harmony. New Sauna, infrared, steam bath and relaxationarea.

Reviewed By ArdlougherI booked one of the Hotel’s family rooms which had a double bed in one large room and two single beds in a separate but connected room which had two single beds. The rooms shared a shower (always plenty of hot water) but had their own toilets and wash basins. Plenty of cupboard space and the room with the single beds had a nice veranda. I booked directly with the hotel who were helpful throughout the booking process and promptly replied in good English to my e mails. Four other friends booked rooms and all of us were extremely happy with the quality and choice of food, Most of our group made use of and appreciated the outdoor heated pool, sauna and steam room. The ski bus which stops outside the hotel provided a frequent and reliable way to reach the ski lift beside the train station. The hotel has an excellent heated boot room and a separated secure ski storage room about 3 meters or so from where the ski bus stops. This is a family run hotel with three generations of the family working in the hotel and providing a very caring environment. We stayed for 7 night half board during the period 19 to 26 March 2022 and found that it was easy to switch ski buses outside the train station to ski in Sportsgastein, Dorfgastein and Badhofgastein. Reviewed By Job_AdamWe stayed as small family in Selina Bad Gastein during Christmas. They are located in a very old building which is really beautiful. Lots of classic details which we loved. Some thing where renovated on a not so nice way but luckily the old building remained for an important part. The Selina team was very nice and willing to help. Only we arrived after they just re opened and many thing didn't went smooth. You saw that the team really needed to find its way to organize things. Also it was cold the first days in our room. And we didn't had a closet. Al but all we will come back because I think the team manage to get it smoothly running

Unser kleines feines Boutique Hotel mit nur 9 Zimmern war einst die Villa der kaiserlichen Hoheiten Sissy & Franz und diesen Flair spürt man noch heute. Also wer auf kaiserlichen Spuren wandern möchte, ist bei uns goldrichtig. Wahrhaft ein Ort zum Träumen ist unser kleines charmantes Boutique-Hotel im Stil der K&K Zeit ... mit dem einzigartigen Blick auf den berühmten Bad Gasteiner Wasserfall! Das Haus wurde, dem Denkmalschutz gerecht, sorgfältig restauriert. Kunstvolle alte Holzvertäfelungen, teilweise original erhaltene Böden aus Zirbenholz und ein Sammelsurium aus alten Möbeln und Bildern erzählen die Geschichte einer längst vergangenen Epoche.

Reviewed By AfromLThe former residence of the Baron de Mesnil, this place seems to have come straight out of the 19th century. Wood panelled rooms, all very classy, nice carpets, great views, etc. Food was just acceptable (so bit disappointing) and only outstanding on New Years Eve. Would come back as the price of 400 EUR for a family suite over Xmas was quite attractive.

Reviewed By zeeuwseThis place looked fine and inexpensive but turned out to be horrible. Bad shower and temperature, curtains not dark, breakfast disappointing. And tax for this, tax for that. Cleaning fee (for 1 night) of 60 euro and not mentioned before, simply dishonest people.
