Sahara Suites is a good Hotel
Reviewed By KSSManagementResponse from the management. The cats keep rodents away and they are not in the main premises. As for the door beeping, it is an electronic door accessed through a card, if not properly closed it will continue to beep. The plumbing has been enhanced and the tank is overhead so pressure is not a problem now, once the tank is full. Each room has a decoder so you have a multitude of channels to select from. Internet service is subject to fluctuations due to lapses from service providers. The suites have sockets in both the room and the living room. It's best if you charge your pc or phone at the socket and then use it at the desk. At this very moment the motel is undergoing a complete face-lift, please visit again you'll be impressed.

Reviewed By RobertPaltielSmall in comparison with other Meridian hotels, however excellent rooms, plenty amenities, modern LED TV's and good food catering for all tastes, including European. I was fortunate enough to be there on a Friday night when they have a Fish grill which was out of this world... Lobster, calamari, prawns all grilled to perfection.... I have to admit I did go for seconds..... Pricing very reasonable. Staff friendly, service good. Basically the hotel ticked all the boxes with helpful staff thrown into the package! Well worth trying out...

FAIR ENOUGH...
Reviewed By sam m'Been staying here for the past three years whenever in the city but keep skipping doing a review. All together, this is a fair place to stay in Calabar amidst the numerous "Hotels" dotting the city. The rooms (from executive double) are quite spacious and adequately furnished and kept clean. The new management have sure upped services but still need to keep eyes on the ball. Dishes served guests in-rooms are not promptly cleared from the corridors. Meals have equally improved but often all options listed in the menu are not always available. The Fitness center(Gym) is quite small alongside the "covered" swimming pool at the rear. A couple of youngsters hang out there and do smoke too! The laundry services are good but the room rates have just gone up. The parking lot would be a challenge when more vehicles are available (see photos). Sleep quality is fair enough if you discount the sound of vehicular traffic on the adjacent road at night time. A fair place to be.

A Hotel for Academic Guests and Business men
Reviewed By suleig2021Four guests from the National Universities Commission (NUC) were lodged here by my employer and i came to visit one of the guests who i know as a student in the late 1980s at Zaria Kaduna State. His room was in the upstairs and quite nice and spacious for any guest. There is a stand by generator working during my visit which was at night time. The hotel is located along a major road and therefore accessible to any part of Katsina city.

No es fácil si saber si morirse con las costillas taiwanesas para revivir con el muslito glaseado de chiles. Bueno, allá usted si quiere seguir en lo mismo.

Reviewed By Datoinettelocated off a busy road ,huge courtyard with security,plenty of seats,bar,grill, pool table, and Flat screen Tv's. clean on the inside. gym clean,proper working equipment just really warm inside. staff friendly and accommodating. smell of ammonia overwheming but calmed down eventually.Room nice just wasn't use to a hotel/motel not providing washcloths. AC,small table,small fridge and flat screen tv all worked good. very few channels maybe 2-3. shower /tub with garden shower was a plus. club at night so not a place for rest and relaxation.loud music most of the day.security at all times and electricity good for the most part. if electric went out the generator kicked in soon or staff ensured it came back on in a decent amount of time. Food not,room service expensive but grill pretty reasonable. suya was great! great price on room per night. under construction at the time so a little noisy. will stay again.

Reviewed By Ricky BThe hotel seems to be run for the benefit of the staff and not the customers. In the morning you have to wake the staff up just for a coffee. The staff are pleasant but don’t go out of there way to help you. There is a limited choice of channels on the tv, the food offered is also limited (chicken and chips). The bar is very noisy at night, I had to be moved the opposite side to the bar.
