Every time we came the staff were friendly and helpful, my friend has dietary requirements and the chef made something to meet her needs. We would get coffee in the morning and the staff would give us suggestions for what to do that day.

Reviewed By AoifeG80This hostel went above and beyond expectations. From our check in we were treated as if we were staying at a 5 star resort. Firstly, the location is perfect as you are walking distance from the beach and shops, restaurants etc. If you want to go further afield it’s possible to rent bikes from the hostel and the hostel manager even gave my friend a lesson as she hadn’t driven before. Next, the breakfast was delicious and there are multiple options available (however we had the pancakes everyday as they were so good!). The coffee was the best I’ve ever had in SE Asia. The service shown by the hostel manager Chu was second to none and he was always nearby if we had a question to ask. He even dropped me to the airport to catch my flight when the time came to leave. Finally, the bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless and there was hot water for the showers. We had an amazing stay at Langchia and if you are coming to Phu Quoc I would be certain that there is no where else that matches the quality of this place for the price. Thank you Langchia and Chu, we had a wonderful time!

La cuisine du restaurant est délicieuse. Les chambres sont magnifiques, spacieuses et très confortables, entièrement équipées (climatisation et tout le nécessaire). La plage est située à moins de 5mn à pieds, il est aussi possible de louer au bar des paddles (sortes de planche canoë kayak) ou tout autre équipement, vélo, scooter ect... Je recommande vivement.

Best place I've ever stayed
Reviewed By stephs406This place is magical. You are away from all the bustle and noise of the main town, based in a sleepy fishing village near the north. The two women who help run this place absolutely make it (I'm ashamed to say I've forgotten names as writing this a few months late) but they were genuinely some of the nicest I met on my entire trip, and made me feel so at home. The dorm is incredible. Huge space and high ceiling with mosquito nets and fans. One of the most peaceful and relaxing spaces, which seems an incredible feat for a shared dorm. The shared toilet and showers are very clean. The river deck is an amazing space. I spent a lot of time in the hammock watching the sun set with a mojito in hand. The food is incredible!! And very healthy - delicious huge house salad with prawns was a favourite. Taking the kayak to the beach is lovely. The water is quite polluted, so you wouldn't want to fall in! And you have to go a bit far down to get to a beach where you'd want to swim. But I don't think any of this detracts from the stay at all. That is the reality of how waste is managed in Vietnam, and it is a huge shame. But it is better to see it and understand, rather than stay in a pristine resort and never realise the issue. Sitting on the beach in the evening and watching the village's fisherman unload their catch was lovely. You get a feel for life on the island that the main town in the south does not afford you. You can hire a moped at a very reasonable price, and explore the island and its beaches. This is not for party-goers or people who want a fancy, luxury set-up - but for people looking for something a off the beaten track, offering simple quality and a place to relax. I would go back in a heartbeat.
