Every time we came the staff were friendly and helpful, my friend has dietary requirements and the chef made something to meet her needs. We would get coffee in the morning and the staff would give us suggestions for what to do that day.

Reviewed By CeeCee YRoom is clean, good size and comfortable. Friendly staff. Can join cooking class to learn Vietnamese cuisine and culture. Need to try Pho at the top floor, the view is amazing while you enjoy the simple and good taste Vietnamese rice noodle soup.

If you travel alone or group of people, we also have 02 the mix dorm 8, where you can feel like on your own bed. Otherwise, we have swimming pool with opened garden, the space you can get BBQ or party with friend.

Reviewed By AoifeG80This hostel went above and beyond expectations. From our check in we were treated as if we were staying at a 5 star resort. Firstly, the location is perfect as you are walking distance from the beach and shops, restaurants etc. If you want to go further afield it’s possible to rent bikes from the hostel and the hostel manager even gave my friend a lesson as she hadn’t driven before. Next, the breakfast was delicious and there are multiple options available (however we had the pancakes everyday as they were so good!). The coffee was the best I’ve ever had in SE Asia. The service shown by the hostel manager Chu was second to none and he was always nearby if we had a question to ask. He even dropped me to the airport to catch my flight when the time came to leave. Finally, the bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless and there was hot water for the showers. We had an amazing stay at Langchia and if you are coming to Phu Quoc I would be certain that there is no where else that matches the quality of this place for the price. Thank you Langchia and Chu, we had a wonderful time!

Lovely Receptionist
Reviewed By Danielle RThe receptionist Quin (sorry if the spelling is wrong) was so lovely. She made conversation with us everytime we seen her. We originally booked for 3 and stayed for 5. The room was nice and big with 2 beds and the shower was really good. It wasn't until our last day we realised we had a fridge, silly us!! We went with breakfast included and only made it 2 times however coffee/tea is not included in this! The beach is about 5 mins walk away and the main town and 13 mins walk away. One day the pool looked green, it may have been some cleaning product but there were no signs put up to say what was going on!

Reviewed By peccy93I had a confirmed booking via booking.com for ages before the estimated arrival day. When we arrived (with a 1,5 year's old baby) they said they don't have the room. They brought us to an other hotel where we were negotiating about the price for hours because they wanted us to pay more which of course we did not want because we had a confirmed booking. At the end we got a diacount but still had to pay more. We spent hete 1 week and the same story happened with 3 other groups... The best of the story is that they replies to the booking.com that we did not attend at the hotel so we had to pay the cancellation fee. I could not contact anybody about it and I can not write a review in the booking because I did not stay there... I think this is their new business to get more money... Oh and the palace was in a very bad status anyway.

Cozy Room but far distance from town

The reception combined with a small cafe with only able to accommodate a few tables.They were serving very simple breakfast which were just bread with butter or jam,a bowl of noodles, fruits and tea. But they do provide local Vietnam dip coffee,so we have a chance to try it during breakfast.Unfortunately, they only serve one small bowl of noodle for each person whereby cannot refillable.The staffs are friendly and helpful, especially Kok and his another colleague,sorry couldn't get his name.We were encountered crashed date between our theme park ticket and snorkeling,we seek help from Kok and his colleague to contact local travel agency to assist us change our snorkeling date.They keep calling and ensure the agency change it to correct date.There is no shampoo and tooth kit provided in room, will only get from reception when asked. The water flow very slow for shower. There is not really convenient as far distance from the town and there is no any restaurant nearby our homestay.Quite hard for us look for foods and groceries. We have to take taxi to the destination like town or restaurant as the homestay is located in a village. There was a night we walked from town, Phu Quoc night market back to our homestay, it took more than 2 hours only reach our room. Overall stay is good with kind staff.

Tommys Beach House is situated to the north of Duong Dong. We are away from the main tourist area and local town, in a quiet, local environment,right on the beach We have 2 separate buldings with both cheap dorm beds and 2 double/family rooms.We also have our own small restaurant and bar facilities where you can eat and drink directly on the beach, enjoy the beautiful sunsets and cool evenings.

Lovely people and amazing hosts, i would recommend it to anybody travelling on a budget who wants beach front living and sound easy going landlords. Tommy's is located 5mins from the main city though you wouldnt know it because it is tucked away giving you the best of both worlds.

Cada vez que llegábamos de una excursión nos esperaban con té, fruta, etc... sin duda el mejor sitio en el que nos hemos hospedado en toda Vietnam. A parte el precio es increíble sobre unos 115.000(4,5€)-130.000(5€) la noche. Si necesitan cualquier cosa solo la tienen que pedir. Por ejemplo a nosotros nos alquilaron la moto y nos la trajeron a la puerta inmediatamente, ellos no se quedan con nada te la alquilan tal cual vaya el mercado que suele estar sobre unos 150.000(6€) el día. También pueden coger cualquier ticket para cualquier actividad. Se me olvidaba, si quieres desayunar te traen a una cocinera y te cobran 30.000(1€ y algo).De verdad que todo ha sido increíble... recomiendo 100% este lugar, sin duda el mejor de todos! Mil gracias a la familia y espero que todo les vaya genial ! ????
