Reviewed By seoro6Mr. Happy is a perfect basis to visit Da Lat & surroundings. It's 3 minutes walking from the main bus station and 15 minutes from city. center. The hostel is clean ant it has very comfortable mattresses, hot water and good food. The young owner loves his job, welcomes you with a big smile and a cup of tea. He also helped me to buy a bus ticket during the TET festival while at the station every company said there was nont tickets available! Thank you mr. Happy and see you again!

Reviewed By gemaquinaI boocked two nights here, staffs were so friendly and helpful. Liked the room and the beds, they have big lockers. Clean. Ended staying here for 5 nights because of the Coronavirus issue. Authorities wouldn’t let us go. The family here provide us with everything we needed! Amazing food! Water! Beer! They were so welcome! I’m so thankful to them, they make me feel so safe! Thanks!

Reviewed By SerenaBean2014This hostel instantly gave me very good feels, this was maybe due to the fact that we arrived after a long sleeper bus to be greeted by puppies! Probably one of the warmest and friendliest hostels I have stayed in.. it has the family feel that bigger or 'chain' hostels can lose. The staff and volunteers here were super friendly, kind and helpful. In the evenings they usually do a firepit where they roast and BBQ things over the fire.. this was a lovely extra touch. I felt this was the perfect social set up, there are plenty of benches outdoors that people tend to be drawn to sit around together. Breakfast was a self service deal, I actually really enjoyed it but I know some people weren't as much of a fan (frying your own eggs etc so a little messy). Beds were very comfy and I was hugely impressed by the shower situ!!! There was a large block really nicely decorated with many many showers, I actually felt relaxed and fresh getting ready rather than having the usual hostel rush. Big thanks to the very very sweet staff at this hostel!

During the day we explored the area and hiked 16 kms round the lake, enjoyed the nearby monastery, cafes etc. The lady who ran the GH was super-friendly along with her excellent staff. Breakfast was included in the rate, and we also booked dinner. The breakfast and dinners were different each day so we always looked forward to meal time. OK, it was vegetarian but tasty. The bathroom was shared, the room basic and clean, and as the name suggests, it was situated on the side of the lake. Can thoroughly recommend a stay here, 5 kms from center of Da Lat which is accessible by the nearby cable car.

50 m from the main road in a quiet alley, you find this warm and friendly atmosphere. The place is close to some of city attractions such as city center, market (800 M), crazy house (1.5km). The hostel is surrounded by Bonsais, Orchids where you have a shared meeting space with tables and chairs for sitting together and chatting with the guests and local staff. A place you make friends easily.

Reviewed By heatherjM4093XYI booked 2 nights and extended by another 2 nights but had to change rooms. Both rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious. No air con but it wasn’t needed. Simple breakfast of bread, boiled egg, fruit and tea made a good start to the day. The one downside is that there’s no real outside space but it is in a good area with lots of local restaurants and an easy walk to the market and lake. The owner even gave me some bread and a boiled egg as a snack for my overnight bus journey. Recommended

The price was very reasonable and the place is located very centrally. I highly recommend staying here for whatever your purpose is in Dalat.

It is also yours and it can welcome any suggestions, passions or projects. We have 2 shared dorm room(3-4-5person/room),NO BUNK BED, private rooms, all with en-suite bathroom, large and funky common room. SANY promise to bring relax and comfortable stay.

Sleepless in Dalat
Reviewed By AnneG3598The rooms are very cute, but we had a bad experience due to loud partying and music. When we said we were going to move to another hotel the next morning, we still had to pay for the 3rd day of our reservation. That wouldn't have been bad, had we not missed the first night due to a canceled flight. So, one loud night of a three day reservation--and the hotel said we had to pay for all three nights. This is not a good policy. Also, the shower sprayed all over the room--it's the type of shower that IS the room, but it's too close to the toilet, the towel bars, the toilet paper, etc....
