My brother recommended this restaurant for steaks. And we werent disappointed ! Great steaks with perfect fried potatoes and peppersauce. Nice small sallad with a tasty dressing as well.

Its hidden down a side street so we missed it at first. Our group of nine were accommodated without a boking after just a short wait. Service was quick and efficient, prices reasonable, the food excellent.

Food is great, Service is super friendly, everything is super lovely. On the toilet you can find everything, you may propably need (Lotion, Deodorant...). There are so many vegan and vegetarian options, I have never seen anything like that in a "normal" restaurant. It's also very special, not like "choose between fries and spaghetti with tomato sauce".

Die Bedienung war sehr nett und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente ist rustikal und typisch ein Dorfrestaurant, ungeheuer urig. Auf der Speisekarte finden man typisch deutsch bis hin zu belegten Broten, Leberkäse und Rindswurst. Schnitzel und Rumpsteak dürfen nicht fehlen. Alle Preise gut. Mein Rumpsteak mit Brot zu â¬12,00 war eines der Besten, die ich je gegessen habe. Fisch ist Fehlanzeige. ACHTUNG: nur Barzahlung möglich. Mitten im alten Dorf gelegen gibt dem Ganzen noch einen Pfiff. Gerne wieder.

Surprising place to find a most of all italian restaurant, Food was good and as often in Germany portions where generous.We visited on a wednesday evening, and the place was quite full, and it took some time to get our food, but not too long.Would like to recomment to visit the tower adjasent to the restaurant from where you will have a good view of the arean

Tolle Atmosphäre am see, herzliche Bedienung, geschmacklich Top essen. Wir haben uns rundherum wohl gefühlt. Essen kam recht zügig, Schnitzel wurden hörbar frisch geklopft, super tolle grüne sosse...alles in allem sehr zufriedenstellend.48 Euro für 3 Personen inkl Getränke kann man echt nicht meckern. Die Waldschänke ist definitiv eine Bereicherung der Rodenbacher Gastroszene: das Ambiente ist gut bürgerlich ( da werden noch echte Tischdecken benutzt!). Am Service ist nichts auszusetzen und das Essen ist sehr gut und preiswert. Das Personal ist freundlich und geht auch auf Sonderwünsche ein. Einziger Nachteil: wenn man nicht ausgesprochener Fan von deutscher Schlagermusik in der Dudelvariante ist ( ein Lied klingt wie das andere und das in Endlosschleife), sollte man erst kommen wenn genug Gäste im Raum sind um die Musik zu übertönen.
