It was a very tiring day for me and my husband.We were both so hungry so after we have checked-in at the hotel, we rushed to roam around the town and find a place to eat. This place was so busy, full of young people eating and drinking their favorite beers. We were attended by the staffs but our food was served without utensils and napkins. Nobody from the staffs cared to give us utensils so i decided to go inside the restaurant and get it by myself.

This restaurant is worth visiting. Has a nice menu and the staff is very observant for your needs. Food is absolutely excellent and you will guaranteed not leave hungry. It is smack in the middle of town close to a parking garage and should not be difficult to find. A treat.

Ziemlich versteckt, zwischen Bavendorf und nirgendwo fanden wir dieses originelle Anwesen. An einem lauen Sommerabend haben wir hier mit grandioser Aussicht auf die Allgäuer Alpen recht ordentlich gespeist und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Trotz des enormen Andrangs schaffte der Service mit aufrichtiger Freundlichkeit alles !! Die Küche; ländlich , regional, da war alles dabei ( Zwiebelrostbraten etc) und gut gekocht. Wir haben uns hier richtig gut gefühlt. Bemerkenswert auch die originelle Inneneinrichtung!! Trotz der groÃen Platzkapazität sollte man im Innenraum reservieren . Ein tolles Erlebnis! Ein Tip für Ortsunkundige: unbedingt Navi benutzen!!

Wir waren mit unserer 10-Monate alten Tochter zum Mittagessen im Schattbuch: Küche ausgezeichnet, Weinempfehlung tadellos, Service sehr zuvorkommend. Schicker und auch funktionaler Babystuhl wurde sogleich gebracht, der mitgebrachte Babybrei wurde für uns aufgewärmt und dann in formschönem Porzellanteller serviert, unkonventionelle Wickelstation für uns ermöglicht - das hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Entspanntes und vorzügliches Mittagessen mit Kleinkind!

Visited on a relatively quiet Wednesday evening and found the welcome very friendly and very GermanThis is one of the few remaining traditional restaurants of the region and the menu reflects this with well cooked and nicely presented food platesThey also brew their own beer which was very nice !Well worth a try

Situated outside of Ravensburg, not easy to be found with GPS, they have a limited menu but with very delicious meals of high quality and a focus on local food. The staff is very friendly and the maitre worked in the Waldhorn in Ravensburg before. Due to the weather I could not check the outside seating. Reservations are recommended.

We came to this restaurant before exploring museums of Ravensburg city. The restaurant seem local favorites as it packed during lunch time. We order from wine , leber spaetzle , duck with red sauerkraut, cheese spaetzle and vegetarian noodles with champignon sauce. The taste was ok not so special the cheese spaetzle is too thick and not enough cheese. But the beer and the wine is great as always in Germany

This restaurant is on the great spot. The service is excellent. We arrived late in night, it was about 10 pm and they did serve us dinner without question. We have choose outside sitting as was very plesent night but inside is great too.
